1 FOREST FARM DRESSAGE 1 st -4 th August 2019 Dressage is being held at Les Villets Farm, Les Villets, Forest on Thursday 1 st August 2019 (Juniors /Newcomers& Prelim/Novice) to Sunday 4th August 2019. There are classes for all abilities including those that are newcomers/beginners and leading rein competitors. (The runners need to be fit!). The Walk Trot and Introductory tests are for those competitors who do not compete at above Preliminary 15. The Nomination class can be entered by anyone...as long as a horse is involved in the performance. There will be music classes on the Saturday August 3rd when everyone will be welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the fun. Please see below re the Performance Class to be held on Sunday afternoon. Entries close on Monday 15th July 2019 and will be on a first come first allocated basis. Entries will be accepted from 1st April 2019. Entries via horse monkey and prior to the end of May will have entries discounted by 4%. If there are too many entries, they will be placed on a waiting list. It is easier for us if you enter via the Horse Monkey app, but if this proves too difficult send your entries to Susie Farnon with cheques made out to Forest Farm Dressage.BD competitors MUST enter via Horse Monkey. Entry fees are 14 per class whilst BD classes are 16 except the Pet Plan Area Festival entry will be the standard amount but any one that competes is entitled to ask for a 5 refund once they have competed. Times will be emailed. Please could competitors have a helper to open and close the gate to the arenas and pick up any droppings on the surface. Refreshments and toilet facilities will be available. The Organisers accept no liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders grooms, spectators or any third party, however caused. 75% of entry fees will be refunded if withdrawals are made before the close of entries. Combinations may only ride a test competitively once a day. Any repeat would be on a H/C basis. A new class on Sunday is a performance class which has no rules with music and any number of horses, dogs and people. There will be prizes for best performance, best entertainment, best fancy dress, best group etc. It can be a sketch or dressage themed or a comedy or obedience sketch. The time limit is 4 minutes. In Horse Monkey Please just enter one horse and rider and in the notes to the Secretary add additional horses, riders and other participants and the title of your performance. The classes are open to all and any combination is encouraged to enter. Junior classes for under 16 on 31.12.18 will be held as separate classes if there are sufficient numbers. The under 12 classes are as at 31.12.18 and are open to competitors that do not compete in elementary or above. 2 Newcomers is for any competitor who is not a regular Prelim or Novice Rider or has not competed for some time, if you wish for clarification please call Susie on 07781165006. Any rider that has achieved 68% or over in newcomers is encouraged to move up to Preliminary Restricted. If any competitor would like any additional Advanced classes, please let us know and it can be arranged. Please note that the schedule is normally extremely busy, and people have to be ready to go in on time and up to 15 minutes early if we are running early, you will of course be given plenty of notice. So please arrive in plenty of time in case you have to go earlier. All Music must be on CD and in standard audio format or if we are given the dis s earlier we can upload to the computer in advance of the competition. Computer discs and tapes will not work on our machine. Nearer the time there will be an opportunity to test your music and have a practice on the arena. Please call Susie on 07781165006 to arrange. 5 ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS FOR AUGUST DRESSAGE 1. Entries close on Monday 15th July 2019and will be on a first-come first-allocated basis. Entries will be accepted from 1st April 2019. Those entering On Horse Monkey before 31 st May will have a 4% discount. If there are too many entries the last entries received will be placed on a waiting list. 2. Entry Fees are 14 per class, BD classes are 16 a class, and an extra 5 per class for late entries. Area Festival entries and BD must be via Horse Monkey. If entered an AF and you compete 5 pounds will be refunded at the show. Please enter via The Horse Monkey App or at www.horsemonkey.com. If you are unable to enter online please make cheques payable to Forest Farm Dressage and send to Susie Farnon, Les Villets Farm, Les Villets, Forest, Guernsey GY8 0HP. Any queries call 07781 165006. Forest Farm Guernsey Data Protection Forest Farm Dressage collects and stores in electronic format the following data on it members: Name, Address, Telephone numbers, email address, age for Juniors. The data is used for communication of Forwarding data to BD, MCI, Guernsey Press and other Media; Organising of helpers Lists; Informing competitors of information; Data will not be provided to any other groups or organisation for any other purpose.
