Page 2 The PTO Pages! Don t let our staff go hungry! Our wonderful Fugett staff will be staying late into the evening for March conferences on Thursday, March 8 th. We would like to make their day a little easier by once again providing them with lunch and an all too rare chance to socialize with each other. We still need more entrees: hoagies, soups, pasta dishes, or whatever you can make (or buy!). If you would like to donate an item please go to: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0e4daeaa2b0- march1

Page 3 The PTO Pages! Please keep sending in those Box Tops! Those little pieces of paperboard add up to hundreds of dollars for the PTO so that we can support programs like this month s Walnut Street Theatre presentation. Our next submission deadline is March 1 st, so please put those Box Tops in a bag or an envelope and get them in to the office ASAP! The Cougar Cause and the West Chester Food Cupboard When school is not in session, students in need miss meals and strain the family food budget. Please consider placing some breakfast or lunch items in the blue bin in the Fugett front entrance to help our neighbors over the Presidents Day weekend. Any other non-perishable food items and personal care items you can spare are always gratefully accepted. Thanks for your support! Contact us: FugettPTO@gmail.com

Page 5 SPORTS IN THE COUGAR S DEN! Fugett Sports for the Week of February 26th 6TH Grade intramural basketball continue through Thursday, March 1st. Interested 6th graders should listen for announcements. Fugett s 3 v 3 March Madness contest to raise money charity will be held on Friday, March 2. Sign-up forms are now being collected. Spring sports will begin in early March! Students will need a PIAA physical to participate and should listen for announcements from coaches about start dates and times. Students and Parents should be reminded that the expectation of a student athlete has always been that they are ambassadors of the school and represent the school when traveling to an away game. For the safety of all students and for the image that, as a school, Fugett wants to portray to others, any misbehavior on the bus or at an away game will not be tolerated and there will be consequences for poor student behavior. Fugett students have been regarded as exceptional young men and women who treat others with respect and exhibit good sportsmanship. We do not want to tarnish this image.
