Please be reminded to put on your Race Bib on race day. Entry to the start line will only be allowed for participants with race bibs. 2. As large crowd is expected, all participants are recommended to arrive at least 1 hour ahead of their stipulated flag off time. Carpooling is highly recommended as parking spaces are limited. 3. Do NOT bring along valuables to the race. The Organiser is not liable for any loss or damaged items before, during or after the race. 4. Should you feel unwell at any time, please stop running and approach any of the race marshal or medical staff for assistance.

GETTING TO BORNEO BIRD RUN 2017 1. Parking spaces are limited, participants are strongly encouraged to car pool 2. Please park your car as directed by the RELA personnel on duty 3. Shuttle bus service to RDC is available for those who park their car at the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre carpark GENERAL RACE ETIQUETTE 1. Should you encounter any challenges during the run, please approach the race marshal for assistance. As a general race etiquette, please keep to your left to allow faster runners to overtake on your right. 2. If you encounter participants on the right side of the lane who are moving at a slower speed, please call out on your right. As a courtesy, all participants are required to move to the left when they hear this. 3.Only run along the stipulated race route. Venturing into prohibited areas is highly dangerous. 4.Respect our environment and wildlife. Do not cut, disturb or collect any plants or insects, and do not feed, tease or throw things at animals if you encounter any. 5. Please give way to emergency vehicles. 6. MEDICAL STATIONS Medical station will be available at the RDC entrance. Medical personnel will be deployed along the route. In case of emergency, please call the Emergency Hotline, which is printed on the back of your race bib. RACE CUT-OFF TIME ALL participants of the Borneo Bird Run are required to complete their race, regardless of category, by 9.00am. Those who are still running on the road by 9.00am will be picked up by the marshal vehicle and return to the finishing point. RESULTS 1. Winners of each category will be acknowledged on the official website within 7 working days of the race day. There is no timing recorded for all categories. 2. ALL participants will be able to download and print their respective certificate of participation from the official website of the Borneo Bird Run within 7 working days of the race day.
LOST & FOUND 1. If you have lost or found an item, please approach the main information booth to file a report. 2. At the end of the event, found items that are unclaimed will be transported to: North Borneo Safari Lot 1, 2nd Floor, Block C, Lorong Megah Jaya, Mile 7, Jalan Labuk 90000 Sandakan 3. If you have lost an item, it will be your responsibility to locate it by contacting the Race Organiser with a description. 4. All unclaimed items will be discarded on/after 31 Dec 2017.
