I hope that all of you that are riders have had a chance to get your bikes out and ride by now, we have had great riding weather and club rides to go on. So if you haven't, your really missing out. Summer is here and so that means it's Dixon time. As always the Dixon show is on the Father's Day weekend, so first off, "Happy Father's Day" to all you Daddy's out there. This years theme, HD Panheads is already shaping up to be a very cool show, the shirts and pins are outstanding don't wait to get yours, they will disappear fast. Bring out those Panheads. The folks at Good Day Sacramento, Channel 31,and Cody Stark, will be out bright and early on Friday morning to show case our event. We are going to start at 6:00 am, so if you and your bike want to be on the tube get up early and comb your hair, if you have any, and dust off the bike and join me in showing off our event. I encourage all off you to try to be there so the TV has some cool bikes to show. It should air on Friday at the 6:00 hour and them they will tape something to show on Saturday also. Hope to see you there. Well it's almost Cannonball time, Mark Wiebens, Jeremy Loewen, and I are working hard to get our bikes ready to go across America. We would like to say thank you to the members of Fort Sutter for the donation to each of us to try to help with this monumental task to run these bike 4000 miles. The bikes are all just about ready to start running shake down miles, some of you may want to join us for a ride and we will probably run them on the club monthly ride, let me know. Stay tuned for more info and possibly a Cannonball party? What? It's in the works. Our friend Tom Green, who had just rejoined our team of directors, has decided to step back to the non director life, it's getting hard for him to get to the meetings. We will miss his voice during our meetings. John Markley is filling his position until the next election cycle. I'm glad to see so many of you at our meetings, they seem to be getting bigger and bigger. If you haven't been to one, come check it out. I know there are so many things to do every weekend, it's hard to decide what to do. I hope you all decide to spend your time at the Dixon fairgrounds with us, June 15 and 16. See you all soon. Ride safe and ride often. Your President, Mark Loewen Our Next Meeting will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 At Sam s Hof Brau Watt and El Camino Avenues Lunch at Noon Meeting at 1:00 p.m.

Minutes of the General Meeting June 2, 2018 The meeting was called to order at 1:02 p.m. by President, Mark Loewen. There were 33 total in attendance including four guests. Guests included Tom Myers, Levi Olson (Eric Olson s son), Dan Reed, and Kim-Reed Edwards. There are 115 members in the Fort Sutter Club at this time. Tom Green sent a letter to the board recently announcing his resignation as Secretary due to illness. The Board has asked John Markley, previous Secretary, to fill in during the interim. We would like to thank Tom Green for his dedication and contributions. I know everyone appreciates what Tom brings to the Club. We wish him well! Minutes: The minutes of the last meeting were approved as written. Treasurer s Report: Marie Moore reports the overall financial status of the Club is in good order. Old Business: April & May, 2018 Fort Sutter Club Ride(s). Tracy Stahlman, Ride Captain (planner) reports both rides were good. The April ride included nine motorcycles headed from Sac to Hwy 49, Drytown to San Andreas for lunch. West to Valley Springs, Pardee and Comanche lakes, then to Lodi. Stopped at another club members house for a break before heading north back to town through Galt and Elk Grove and back to Sac. The May ride was to the Ishi Chapter s annual show and swap. Left West Sac at 8, rolled into Chico about 10:00 AM. 5 bikes, 1 support vehicle. Myself, Rich, Mark L., John, Stan, Jim and Karie. Met up with Greg and Mark W. at the event. Greg went on yesterday s ride with Ishi and said they had quite a few bikes. Stopped for lunch on the ride back. I got home about 6pm. New Business: Dixon: Jim Moore reported to the group regarding Dixon in general and all last minute preparations are almost complete. Rich Ostrander reports that the I80 signage is currently running 24/7 promoting the Dixon event. For the value received vs. money spent this form of advertising has proven worthwhile. Rich also stated all other forms of advertising are in place, plus the Dixon event meet pins are in, as well as, all other promotional items. Barbara Hardmeyer will be decorating the Denverton Hall tables just before Friday nights banquet. Tracy Stahlman made a visit to the Dixon storage locker recently and organized, as well as, took an inventory of items. Tracy found additional table decorations etc. and will bring these to the event. Thursday June 14 th is setup day. Bob Pratt is looking for help to paint the vendor grid lines. Your help is needed so meet Bob on the lawn no later than 6:30 AM. John Markley reports the banquet vendor is secured and ready to go for Friday Nights Banquet. Security will be on site during the event and will be roaming to help with any security issues. Jim Moore: is leading the Judging Program this year and is looking for additional help. We need your involvement to help properly judge these Antique Motorcycles. Contact him at the event and attend the upcoming Judging seminar being held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 15 th, inside Denverton Hall. Jim says all roadways (especially on the west side) are to remain clear of vehicles etc. to properly have enough space for a fire truck if an emergency occurs. Shari Pratt is asking for help selling the Club s T- shirts and promotional item during the Dixon event. Contact Shari on Friday morning June 15 th at the merchandise booth contiguous to the Fort Sutter Booth. Your help is needed! Mark Loewen reports: Good day Sacramento, Channel 31,and Cody Stark, will be out early Friday morning (6:00 AM) to show case the Dixon event.
