THE GREEN PAGES HEAD OFFICE REPORT DECEMBER 2014 www.greenwin.ca In the News greenwins at the It was another banner year for Team Greenwin at the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario MAC Awards! We took home top prize for Advertisement Excellence - Social Media (accepted by Jessica Green) and we received a nomination for Leasing Specialist of the Year (John Ford and Ian Burns). Congratulations to all of Team Greenwin on another hugely successful year!

Greenwin Cares cont'd Honoured JESSICA GREEN AT WXN TOP 100 POWERFUL WOMEN EVENT Exciting news! Team Greenwin's Director of Corporate Communications and Branding, Jessica Green, was honoured by the Women's Executive Network as one of their Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada. Members of Team Greenwin were proud to attend the event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre that saw Jessica honoured alongside other equally inspiring women, including CTV News anchor Lisa Laflamme. Congratulations, Jessica, on this well-deserved award!

Greenwin Spir it It's a GREEN CHRISTMAS December saw Greenwin properties from far and wide decking their halls with gorgeous Christmas decor and throwing holiday parties for their tenants. From a visit from Mr. Claus himself at 104 Confederation in St. Thomas to resident game nights that came complete with home baked goodies and presents for all, Greenwinites proved how much they love the season. A special shout-out to the residents at 88 Erskine who filled up their mitten tree once again this year (all mittens were donated to the San Romanoway Revitalization Association). Check out tons of photos from the parties and see the sparkly decorations on our Facebook page. Partying THE YEAR AWAY On December 18, Team Greenwin gathered for our annual holiday party. It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to get together and celebrate all of our successes and hard work in 2014. Naturally, Santa Kris made a triumphant appearance again this year! Thanks to all of Team Greenwin for a fantastic 2014. Here's to an even bigger and better 2015!

Greenwin Spir it c ont'd Come All Ye UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS The ugly Christmas sweater bug has taken over Canada, and Team Greenwin was certainly not immune! This year, we held our very first Ugly Christmas Sweater competition at head office and the results were incredible (and, yes, ugly). The winner of the competition was Camille with her bright red reindeer homage. Thanks to all for participating and showing us your best ugly sweaters! GREENWIN GETS "Happy" For RentSeeker's annual video presentation at the FRPO MAC Awards, they enlisted the help of some of their friends to dance to the Pharrell Williams hit, "Happy". Of course, Team Greenwin naturally made an appearance and danced their way into RentSeeker legendary viral video status. To see the full video, visit our Facebook page for the link.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT On Stage with the Harold Green Jewish Theatre In the mood for a night at the theatre? Check out what s coming up at the Harold Green Jewish Theatre and let us know if you re interested in seeing a show. For more information, visit http://www.hgjewishtheatre.com This month, our Q & A is with Frank Oancea, Resident Manager of 1639 Bloor Street West in Toronto. Q&A frank oancea When did you start working with Greenwin? February 12th, 1990. What is your current role? I'm the Resident Manager at 1639 Bloor Street West in Toronto. What do you do when you start feeling overwhelmed on the job? I do my tasks in a priority order - first things first! If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? To do what a Greenwin Building Manager does. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Mr. Harold Green, the founder of this great company. If you could try out one role within the company that is completely different from yours, what would it be? Managing the property at 1639 Bloor Street West in Toronto. What do you like most about working at Greenwin? The people and their professionalism.

Kris Korner: Well, it's that time of year again. Time for - you guessed it - new year's resolutions. I was curious about what the most popular resolutions were and if they are easy to stick to. I found that some of the biggest resolutions each year include: Spending more time with family and friends Quitting smoking Getting in shape Getting organized Learning something new (like a new language) Volunteering more often I think all of these are excellent resolutions, so it's not a surprise that they are some of the most popular. If you're looking to make a big life change, there is something about the start of a new year that is very encouraging. It feels like a clean slate. For some of the notoriously difficult resolutions, like quitting smoking or getting into shape, remember to take small steps. Instead of saying, "I will quit smoking this year," make a smaller and more easily achievable goal at first. Say, "I will cut down to one cigarette each day." That way, when you reach this goal, you will feel encouraged to take the next step of quitting altogether. Whatever you decide to do, it's always more fun to do it with friends. Ask for support in reaching your goal. Maybe even a fellow Greenwinite would like to join you! Kris
