Thomas Jefferson Open House by Timothy Nguyen Thomas Jefferson High School hosted an open house to welcome in prospective students on October 6 th. It was a school wide collaboration with Administrators, Faculty, and a large portion of the student body participating in preparation and the event itself. Visitors were welcomed in by the TJHS cheerleaders and were escorted around the campus by tour guides, which consisted of members of the Student Government Association and other volunteers. The campus tour began in the cafeteria where the families were greeted by Mr. Vincent and Dr. Leighton and shown a welcome video. Afterward attendees were brought to the classrooms to meet and greet the instructors. The tour concluded with a trip to the gymnasium where the families could explore all of the clubs, sports, and other extracurricular activities that Thomas Jefferson has to offer.
