I don't remember the energy ever being any higher in that building then for those final minutes of the game. Why should you be the First Star of the Week: I have been a Caps fan since I was a 6 years old and went to my 1st game. I used to get my stick and puck out and play along with the team while watching at home on HTS. I still have my ticket stub from the 1st Caps game played at the MCI/Verizon Center. In my 5 years as a season ticket holder I can count on 1 hand the number of home games I have not attended. As a season ticket holder, you have a unique opportunity to get your kids (or other kids in your family) into the spirit by having them design the cover for our official Capitals Holiday E-card! The winner will receive a jersey signed by the entire Capitals team and will also have their artwork featured on the cover of the holiday card to be sent out via e-mail, shown on the videoboard at Verizon Center, and displayed on WashingtonCaps.com. The contest is open to kids of all ages! Scans or pictures of the drawings must be submitted via this form, dropped off at the Capitals office at Kettler Capitals Iceplex (627 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, Va., drop-off hours are 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mon-Fri except holidays), or dropped off at the Kids Club Table by section 109 at any Washington Capitals home game by 5 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2011.
