We have several new events coming up that we are looking forward to. Check out the calendar for a list of upcoming events. I would like to send out a thank you to all that came out to help celebrate Pilgrim Dave Copus and Fellow Dan Puglsey. It was a very nice celebration. It was very well attended by fellow members and several State Moose Board members including State President Mike Uhlenhake. I would also like to send out a congratulations to Past Governor Joe Zofkie for receiving the Lima Lodge Moose of the Year. As I mentioned in the last newsletter Moose International is starting a Veterans Program. We here at the Lima Moose Lodge will be starting one too. We are currently collecting non-perishable food for the Lima Veteran's Pantry. You can drop off any donation to the Lodge throughout the month of November. On Friday November 11th we would like to send out a special thank you to all Veteran's by offering all Veteran's that are members of Lima Lodge a free soup and sandwich along with $1.00 well drinks. And if you see Joe Zofkie around, be sure to congratulate him on being Lima's Moose of the Year. Thank you to all you supported the Ohio State Tailgate Party and Rib Cook off! The day was a great success and we were able to donate over $700.00 to the Ohio State University Community Cancer Center Fund Stay up to date with all events and specials at the lodge by joining the mass texting. Women of the Moose Chapter# 52 Hello Everyone, These 6 months have gone by so fast! It has been a process but I think we are making progress! A huge WELCOME to all of our new and returning members!!! Member retention week is approaching soon so we are hoping we will see even more new faces and also more familiar faces return!!!!! We had another successful fundraiser. Thanks to the help and support of our members we raised over $700 for the OSU Cancer Center. We still have more events and fundraisers planned for the next few months so check our website ( lodgel99.moosepages.org )often or stop in the lodge to see what is going on. We are still hoping to get more members actively involved in our activities and fundraisers! Anything you do to help is GREATLY appreciated and helps make our lodge a success! The holidays are just around the corner. The children's Halloween party was a success! The children's Christmas party is in the works. So are the annual Ham/Turkey giveaway & raffle night and the New Year's Eve celebration. Also the Cradle Fund to help the children and seniors of Mooseheart and Moosehaven enjoy the holidays.
