We have Halloween! This month we will be having two Halloween parties for the adults. October 13 will be "Fright Night". Trevor Davis will be our host. He will have 4 bands coming in for that night. $7.00 donation to the animal shelter "Forgotten Friends Animal Rescue" for the event. Haunted House and of course dress accordingly~costume contest! October 5 is kid's movie night. Our feature will be "Hotel Transylvania 3". Soda and popcorn are free. Movie starts at 5:30 pm. October 20 is one of our favorite's; Trivia night with Rockin Russ. The ladies will be having a craft fair in the afternoon, followed by Russ. October 27 will be both our kid's Halloween party at noon till 2 pm. Followed by the adult party at 7:00 pm with "The BarrCasters" playing music to dance to. Both events will have costume contests as well. Tuesday October 30 the WOTM will be having a Quarter Auction. October is Cradle month. Again the men and women will be having a contest to see who can raise the most money for our kid's at Mooseheart. Last year the ladies beat us guys; so sign your cradles and lets beat them this year. But of course no matter who wins, our children at Mooseheart are the real winners. Next month we will be again signing up for the trip to Mooseheart for the tree lighting. We will try to fill a bus again to go. If you haven't gone to Mooseheart in the past try to make it this year. It's an experience you'll never forget. We need you to sign up your friends and neighbors. We are very close to our goal and you can help. We have lots of incentives for you to sign up new members. The state has upped its game as well, just sign up one new member and they will give you a $10 gift certificate to be spent at the lodge here. A little more work and sign up three the lodge will pay next years dues for you. This program has been our most successful incentive and if you do it every year, you'll never pay dues again! how good is that! Check out Internationals web-site for more signing incentives as well. Fraternally yours, Richard Smart, Administrator

2 NEWS FROM YOUR GOVERNOR Happy Halloween!! This is such a great time of the year. I can't wait for the 27th Halloween parties. Can't get here soon enough. October 13 we will be having a "Fright Night" Trevor Davis has got four great bands for you to hear. Plus a haunted house, well it's in our basement. I've been told we have a great haunted house. Just as good as any other one out there. Come and check it out and help Trevor's fundraiser. We will be having another Christmas Cash Sweepstakes again this year. Tickets will be on sale very soon. Who wouldn't want extra cash for Christmas. First prize will again be $2000, $500 for second, $200 for third and fourth and fifth will be one years dues free. Drawing will be on December 24th at 4:30 pm. I'm buying my tickets as soon as we get them, so should you. I was at the State Convention this month and it was a great convention. It was a lot of fun and a lot of great information to learn. The state board is putting out a great incentive package for you to sign up new members. One new or former member and you will receive a $10 gift certificate for your efforts. Packer parties are up and running and it's a lot of fun. I have some great free items for you to win just for coming to the game. We have fun and that's what it's all about. Drawings, raffles, food and some great football to watch. NEWS FROM YOUR SENIOR REGENT First, I want to congratulate Brian Mifflin for becoming Pilgrim. It was a beautiful celebration! 5 Also, congratulations to Mark Schneider for being Kenosha's newest Fellow. On October 2nd, we will have our annual Christmas in October Activity Night. If you want to come dressed in your favorite Christmas Holiday outfit, you are welcome to do so. We will have a "walk of checks" for Mooseheart and Moosehaven. It will be a fun night and you never know what kind of treats we may have. For October, the WOTM Board meeting will be held on 10/7 at 12:30 PM. We hope to see you at the Craft/Vendor Fair on October 20th and the Quarter Auction on October 30th! Make sure to invite your family to come for the fun! For the month of October, we will be doing the Cradle Fundraiser. Ladies, starting October 1st, when you come in the Lodge, donate to this Fundraiser by buying a WOTM card. Last year, we beat the LOOM, so let's try to do that again! Don't forget the Halloween Parties! It is always fun checking out all of the costumes. We are going to be short handed in the Bingo Kitchen in October, so if you are able to come in to help, even if you can only help 1 evening, that would be a huge help and greatly appreciated. We start prepping for the evening around 4 PM. We serve from 5-7 PM. After cleanup, we are usually done by 7:30 or 8 PM. Continue to invite your family and friends to come check out the Moose, and help them become Members, if they decide to do that. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming Membership meetings. The meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday every month at 7 PM. Sincerely, Joanne Horner, Senior Regent IDENTIFICATION STATEMENT Published Title.......... Moose Paper Issued Date............
