Pg.7 22 Wing Badminton Team We are looking for players to represent 22 Wing North Bay at the Ontario Region Badminton Championships to be held in February 2019. We are also looking for a Team Captain to start some practice times. Contact Pierre Simard at ext. 2240. The team shall be comprised of ten players in the following age categories: (4) Open Men Open age (2) Senior Men 35 yrs. and over (2) Masters Men 45 yrs. and over (2) Women Open age 22 Wing Squash Team We are looking for players to represent 22 Wing North Bay at the Ontario Region Squash Championships to be held in February 2019. Top Fuel for Top Performance (TFTP) AND Injury Prevention Training (IP) Dates: 5 Sessions commencing 18 September, concluding 16 October 2018. Every Tuesday 1000-1200 hrs. Participants must complete all 5 sessions to receive a completion certificate. Additionally, this is a 2-in-1 course, so upon successful completion, participants will get two HRMS codes awarded to them.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH Pg.10 Spaghetti Squash Pepperoni Pizza Boat Ingredients 2 whole spaghetti squash Pinch of salt Ground black pepper Extra-virgin olive oil 1 cup chopped pepperoni 2 cup marinara 2 cup shredded mozzarella ¼ cup chopped parsley Directions 1. Preheat oven at 400F. Place spaghetti squash on a plate and microwave 5 minutes. Halve each lengthwise and remove seeds. Transfer to parchment-lined baking sheet, season with salt, pepper and drizzle with olive oil. 2. Bake, cut-side down, for 30 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, in a small skillet over medium heat, crisp pepperoni, stirring occasionally. Transfer to plate. 4. Loosen spaghetti strands using a fork. Add ½ cup marinara, ¼ cup mozzarella, and ¼ cup pepperoni to each baked squash half. Mix filling with a fork and top with ¼ cup more mozzarella and parsley. Return to baking sheet. 5. Broil until cheese is melted and golden, 4-5 minutes.

Pg.11 Healthy Peanut Butter Cup Ingredients Base ¼ cup coconut oil ¾ cup peanut butter 2 tbsp. honey Chocolate Topping 2 tbsp. coconut oil 2 tbsp. cocoa powder 2 tbsp. honey 2 tbsp. butter Sea salt, to taste Directions 1. Melt base ingredients in a pot until smoothly combined. 2. Pour into a cookie tray/muffin tin and freeze for 10-15 minutes. 3. Melt chocolate topping ingredients in a pot until smoothly combined. 4. Remove peanut butter mixture from freezer and pour chocolate topping evenly over the base. 5. Freeze for 1 hour. ENJOY!
