Johnson Town Supervisor April 5, 2017 Dear Town of Wilton Sponsors/Business Supporters: The Town of Wilton s Bicentennial and ParkFest committees are working hard to get ready for our 2017 ParkFest and 2018 Bicentennial special events. The year 2018 will be a year of remembrance and celebration as the Town of Wilton celebrates its Bicentennial. In commemoration, the Bicentennial Committee is planning a series of special events throughout the year. We invite you to consider becoming a supporting sponsor and participate in the opportunity to encourage the citizens of this township to pause, reflect and remember our history. Thousands of visitors attend the ParkFest event and enjoy a fun-filled day. Each year we achieve record breaking attendance. This Community Day celebration is offered to the Town of Wilton residents and those of its surrounding communities with free entry and parking. The day includes activities, entertainment, a live band, crafters, rides, food vendors, contests, games and fireworks at dusk. Each year we think of better ways to get the word out not only for our event, but for all of you who help sponsor this great day. We have designed a sponsorship program of different levels that includes sponsorship of both the Bicentennial year as well as ParkFest 2017 and ParkFest 2018. A wide range of advertisement value for your company is available depending on the level chosen. The Signature events mentioned in the attached are: 2017 and 2018 ParkFest Community Day events to be held on July 8, 2017 and July 7, 2018 Town of Wilton Bicentennial Kickoff Gala to be held at McGregor Links Country Club on January 27, 2018 Bicentennial Historic Site Tour to be held on April 21-22, 2018 Taste of Wilton event to be held at Gavin Park on September 24, 2018 Bicentennial Holiday Community Dinner to be held at the Saratoga/Wilton Elks Club on December 29, 2018 As you probably know, putting on all of these events takes a lot of time and effort to organize and promote. We need to start now to confirm sponsorships in time for the advertising to be up and running. These events are right around the corner so don t delay!
