This guide will give you step-by-step instructions on how to perform. This will cover items such as adding new members, activating/deactivating members, and updating member contact information. How-to Access Your Club Roster 1. Open an internet browser and go to www.gam.org/clubadmin 2. Enter your Username and Password in the appropriate boxes* 3. Select Sign In *If you do not know your Username and Password please contact the GAM at handicap@gam.org. We can also add additional Club Administrators for your club if desired. 4. Click on Members in the main menu bar. 1
5. Your club roster will now display. Updating Member Contact Information 1. Follow the steps above in How-to Access Your Club Roster to get to the club roster page. 2. To search for a member you have the following three options. 1. Search by Name (Red Box) 2. Search by GHIN Number (Yellow Box) 3. Search by First Letter of Last Name (Black Box) 2
3. Once you have located the appropriate player, select the icon on the left side of the page next to the player s name (see below) to view their current profile information. 4. To edit the player s information you will select the edit button icon (see below) that pertains to the information you would like to edit. The following information may be edited. Name, Gender, Birth Date - Gender is important as score posting is tied to Gender so the available tees will not show up correctly, if the Gender is not correct. Birth Date is also important for billing purposes and entering players in correct age divisions for GAM events and tournaments. Member Mailing Address As a GAM member, each player will be delivered a GAM Course Directory, however there needs to be an address listed and it cannot be the address of the golf course. Member Login This is the player s login information to the GAM website to post scores, register for tournaments, GAM Golf Days, and access many other benefits of their GAM membership. Email Address In order for a member to receive their Handicap Revision email on the 1 st and 15 th of the month, they need to have an email address on file. 3
Add a Member 1. Follow the steps above in How-to Access Your Club Roster to get to the club roster page. 2. Select the Add Golfer icon in the top right portion of the page (see red box below). 3. The following screen will display. The option you choose should be based on the following. No Player you are adding has never had a GHIN # either in Michigan or another state Yes Player you are adding has a GHIN # in Michigan or another state and they supplied you with the GHIN # Don t Know Player you are adding has a GHIN # in Michigan or another state, but you do not know it. 4
4. No Option You will be asked to fill out information about the member. On this page, First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, and Gender are all required. Select Next when finished. The page below will show on your screen. If you do not know this information, or would like to skip entering this information select Skip (yellow box below). You will have this Skip option on the next two screens as well. If you do enter information on this screen select Next. 5

Enter a Username and Password for the player. This is required and it is recommended that you create a simple, but specific username and password that the member can change later. For example, John Smith s Username and Password could be johnsmith or johnsmith18. Select Save to complete the process. 7
To view the player s GHIN # you will need to search for them in your club roster. After locating them, the GHIN # will be located in the column to the right of their first name. 5. Yes Option Enter the GHIN # in the YELLOW box, then select Find Golfer. 8
Select Use This after identifying the correct player. Select Save to add the player to your roster. 9
6. Don t Know Option Search for the player by entering information (first name, last name, state) in the BLACK box, then select Find Golfer. Select Use This after identifying the correct player. 10
Activating/Deactivating a Player 1. Follow the steps above in How-to Access Your Club Roster to get to the club roster page. 2. To search for a member you have the following three options. 1. Search by Name (Red Box) 2. Search by GHIN Number (Yellow Box) 3. Search by First Letter of Last Name (Black Box) 3. Find the golfer that you are wishing to activate or deactivate. You will see their current status (Active or Inactive) in the Active column (see below). 4. To activate an INACTIVE golfer click on INACTIVE. 11
