Checking In and Out Every individual must be sighted at check-in/out desk Teams must check-in then come back to check out as they leave so we know exactly when they have left the CP and are heading out on the next section Teams of 2 or less must walk with another team to ensure a safe walking group Vests must be visible at all times Page 31

Retirement Team members can retire at any checkpoint Team members cannot be replaced Retirees must hand over their bibs. These can be returned by post at a later date A sticker will be issued to the team leader for their bib. This is to represent the missing team member Team members cannot rejoin the team after retiring Please call support crew after retirement at CP1 You must retire at a checkpoint

Support crews Please avoid being at the checkpoints unless you have to Adopt a minimum waste policy Listen to the marshals remember your vehicle pass Please respect others at the checkpoints Remember that the people at the checkpoints are volunteers Be nice to them and say thank you!!
Ensure you have read and understood all the event rules! Every team must have a support crew and must be self-sufficient. Teams are asked to respect residential and local parking regulations. Teams must carry a minimum of two mobile phones. Each team must carry at least one first aid kit including four thermal blankets. Slower teams must give way to those teams travelling at a faster pace. Teams are strictly forbidden to meet their support crew outside the checkpoints.
