Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely. NOTES TO THE PHYSICIAN This product contains a Pyrethoid, and MUST NOT be confused with organophosphorus compounds. INHALATION Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Provide fresh air, warmth and rest, preferably in a comfortable upright sitting position. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues. INGESTION Rinse mouth thoroughly. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. SKIN CONTACT Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing. EYE CONTACT Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse. 5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES EXTINGUISHING MEDIA Extinguish with alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog. Do not use high volume water jet. SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES Avoid breathing fire vapours. Containers close to fire should be removed or cooled with water. Dike and collect extinguishing water. UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS In case of fire the evolution of dangerous gases is possible. Contains potassium chlorate which is classified as an oxidising agent. PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire. 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet. ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS Do not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be IMMEDIATELY alerted to the Environmental Agency or other appropriate regulatory body. SPILL CLEAN UP METHODS Avoid contact with skin or inhalation of spillage, dust or vapour. Remove spillage with vacuum cleaner. If not possible, collect spillage with shovel, broom or the like. Collect spillage in containers, seal securely and deliver for disposal according to local regulations. Do not contaminate water sources or sewer. 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE USAGE PRECAUTIONS Read and follow manufacturer's recommendations. Does not require specific handling. Avoid inhalation of dust, or contact with eyes, as dusty material. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. USAGE DESCRIPTION Pesticide smoke generator. STORAGE PRECAUTIONS Keep separate from food, feedstuffs, fertilisers and other sensitive material. Store in tightly closed original container in a dry and cool place. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. STORAGE CLASS Keep in pesticide store - product is an insecticide of low toxicity. Physically and chemically stable for at least 2 years when stored in the original, unopened containers at ambient temperatures. 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION INGREDIENT COMMENTS When using this product, refer to the label for details. Should it be necessary to enter the treated area whilst smoke remains in the atmosphere, respiratory protective equipment and eye protection must be used (see HSE Guidance Booklet (HS)G53 'Respiratory Protective Equipment - A Practical Guide for Users') PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT RESPIRATORY EQUIPMENT No recommendation is given, but respiratory protection maybe required in confined spaces or on entering treated area immediately after application. HAND PROTECTION For prolonged or repeated skin contact use suitable protective gloves. EYE PROTECTION Wear approved chemical safety goggles where eye exposure is reasonably probable. HYGIENE MEASURES Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. SKIN PROTECTION Wear apron or protective clothing in case of contact.
