Supplementary Rules Kartsport New Zealand Permit Number: 1462A Event Status This is a single event run over a period of 3 days to the Regulations, Codes, Rules, Procedures and Specifications of Kartsport New Zealand, these Supplementary Rules and any additional Supplementary Rules issued prior to or during the event. Sponsors stickers must be in place during official pratice, tuning runs and all competition plus at any scrutineering as per rule G4.7 8 Official Notice Board: The notice board is situated at the front of the pit lane on the left side. 9 Transponders: Must be fitted and functioning for all scrutineering, tuning runs and racing. 10 Masters Classification: (Rule D1.2): Will be recognized in all Senior classes if a green plate background is used as per Rule L2.9 and the Master is indicated on the Entry Form. 11 Noise Control: Non-metallic inserts must be fitted between or through barrel and head fins of all air cooled engines except Cadet Raket, Cadet Rok and Vortex Mini Rok. A noise meter may be used. 12 Drivers Briefing: Will be conducted on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, All drivers and parents/legal Guardians of drivers under 18 years of age must attend the briefing. 13 Change of Guardian: Please refer to Rule G1.2 14 Racing Numbers: 1 or 2 digit numbers preferred please. Refer to Rule L2-L2.9 15 Unacceptable Behaviour: A high standard of behaviour is expected by both competitors and crew at all times. The Convenor and/or KartSport New Zealand Officials have the right to remove any person from the complex deemed to have behaviour that could bring this event into disrepute. 16 Blue and Red Double Diagonal Flag: (Rule H1.11) Will be used at this Event. 17. Dry Tyre Distribution : For restricted tyre classes, only marked DRY tyres supplied at the event can be used during competition. All competitors in tyre restricted (MG-AZ) classes are required to purchase a voucher (either a Full set or a Cadet set voucher) from their usual outlet. DRY tyres will be distributed between 1.00pm and 4.30pm on Thursday by Technical Officers. A class by class timetable will be published once Late Entries close. Each competitor is entitled to one set of DRY tyres per class. DRY tyres must be used for the class they are marked for. You must present your voucher to receive your tyres. No voucher = no tyres. NOTE: Competitors are to supply their own WET tyres, which will be marked if/when they are first used in competition at this event. 18 Testing: The KartSport Rotorua Track will be available for testing on Wednesday 22 nd and Thursday 23 rd of October. Gates Open at 8.30am, Testing available 9am to 5.00pm. The Track will be Closed for Testing Saturday 18 th to Tuesday 21 st October 2014 19 Time Schedule: This event will be run to a published Timetable, established following close of entries after 26 th September 2014. Information Security Security will be at the complex Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights. Kartsport Rotorua will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred. We will have security Sunday evening at Prizegiving venue. Food / Refreshments Food and refreshments will be onsite from Wednesday through to Sunday. Breakfast also available from 8am Friday to Sunday. The bar will be open at the conclusion of racing on Friday to Sunday. N.B.: As a condition of our Bar Licence, the only Alcohol to be consumed within the KartSport Rotorua International Raceway is that which is purchased from our Clubrooms. Thankyou with your co-operation with this. Trailer Sites Trailer sites are available at a charge of $35 for the Event. All pit sites will be allocated by Kartsport Rotorua. Pit sites are all 6m x 4m.You must be able to fit within your pit site. If you need more space, book more sites. The club will do it's best to provide sites for those who wish to pit near friends etc. Requests for variation with the entry to the Race Secretary please. Pit stands must have 'feet' or suitable flat supports. Tents/Gazebos erected in the pit area must be of a free standing type no pegs. Ground sheets are compulsory. Prize Giving To be held at The Holiday Inn, Rotorua, at the conclusion of technical inspections on Sunday evening. Prize Giving Tickets Only $5.00. Prizegiving with Meal Tickets - Adults $35, Children $17.50. Accommodation The Holiday Inn, Rotorua are offering special rates for KartSport Competitors, The same venue for our Prizegiving- How convenient.
