The children did an outstanding job! Congratulations to Aiden Purcaro (Intermediate)! He was chosen to represent St. Peter/St. Francis School in the Future Musician Regional Band Concert on October 22 nd. Aiden also received an award for being selected first trumpet first seat. Congratulations to Lower Primary! They were the October Boxtops winners having sent in 822 boxtops that averages out to 43 per student! Thank you! The class will be rewarded with a dress down day (exact date to be determined). The profit on the Pie/Butterbraid/Cookie Dough sale was $5,576! Again, many thanks to Stacey Sefcik for chairing this very successful fundraiser. Remember, delivery is tomorrow. There is a Sports Meeting tonight at 7:00PM in the cafeteria. The parents of any boys who are interested in playing basketball or girls who would like to be cheerleaders should attend. On Friday, the children will attend the 9:45AM Mass at St. Peter Church for First Friday. All students should be in full dress uniform. Dismissal is at noon. This Saturday is the Camp In. It sounds like an exciting event! Special thanks is extended to Kim Duncan and Tamara Michalec for co-chairing the fundraiser. Remember to set your clocks back one hour this weekend. Tuesday, 11/8 - Election Day has arrived! Tonight is the Texas Roadhouse fundraiser from 4:00-8:00PM in Waterbury. Remember to bring the flyer. Wednesday, 11/9, is our Veterans Day Assembly at 12:30PM in the gym. During this month of thanksgiving, please consider donating to Student Council s Food Drive. Information is included. ALL HANDS ON DECK!!! I am very happy to report that not only did we meet our goal of $5000 profit from the pie/cookie dough/pastry fundraiser, we EXCEEDED it! Our total profit was $5576 thank you to everyone who participated and helped St. Peter/St. Francis School achieve such a success! I d like to give special thanks to the following families who assisted at the Oktoberfest and at the Mass Sales: The Bennett Family The Harmon Family The Haxo Family The Propfe Family The Tagan Family Our product delivery is scheduled for Friday, November 4 th at 2PM. Family orders will be available for pickup at 4PM. As we have nearly 900 items being delivered and 2 hours to pack it, I am requesting help unloading our product and packaging each family s orders for pickup. Please be aware that some heavy lifting is involved. The work should take approximately 2 hours, and this will count toward your volunteer requirement. FOOD DRIVE SPSF will be holding a canned and nonperishable food drive to help the people in need. Please bring in canned food and/or nonperishable food items to your child s teacher from November 7 th through November 21 st All donations will be appreciated!

SPSF CAMP-IN 2016 Join us on Saturday, November 5 th, as we camp under the stars of the GYM! There are only 9 sites left --- so book ASAP! No tent? Don't let that deter you from enjoying a night full of fun. Contact a co-chair if you need to borrow a tent... Excitement includes: Glow-in-the-Dark games, Scavenger Hunt, Large screen Movie, Popcorn and more! BBQ for sale in the cafeteria will include Pulled-Pork Sliders, Beans and Franks, and Homemade Mac-n-Cheese. S mores kits will be available for purchase as well, as we will have a fire-pit in the parking lot! Complimentary Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and Doughnuts will be served on Sunday morning.
