The competition of three disciplines (DUO system, Fighting system and Ne- Waza system) will be held at the Grand Dôme on the 27 th & 28 th April. The Grand Dôme of Villebon will once again be the center of world jujitsu during this weekend. It is the first event counting for World Games 2021 Qualification. You will have the opportunity to see French jujitsukas face the best jujitsukas on the planet. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION First Entry (entry by number): 30 March Visa request (MUST with passport copies): 30 March Final Entry (entry by names): 19 April Nations missing the registration deadline will not be allowed to participate. No exceptions will be made! NOTE: It will be allowed to replace already registered coaches or officials; competitors only in the case of an injury. 6. CONTROL OF ENTRIES AND ACCREDITATION Athletes must be presented and registrered by their National Federation. The control of entries and issuing of accreditation cards will take place : - on 26 th April from 17:00 to 19:00 : at (Dojo - 21/25 avenue de la Porte de Châtillon 75014 PARIS, France) - on 27 th April from 14:00 to 15:00 : at Grand Dôme (3 rue du Grand Dôme - 91140 VILLEBON-SUR-YVETTE, France) At least one team official must attend in time to confirm the entries of all athletes and officials with his/her signature. A delayed appearance or no-show at control of entries may result in the exclusion of all participants from the draw and the event. In case of unforeseen delay of arrival the Federation must contact immediately the organizer and the JJEU. An accreditation card will be issued to competitors, officials and media. This accreditation card should be carried at all times. Passports or photocopy of passports from all competitors must be available on request. 9. COMPETITION RULES a. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the latest JJIF refereeing rules b. Weight categories: Individuals : Jujitsu Fighting: Men : Women : -56kg, -62kg, -69kg, -77kg, -85kg, -94kg, +94kg -45kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, +70kg Jiujitsu Ne Waza: Men: -56kg, -62kg, -69kg, -77kg, -85kg, -94kg, +94kg Women: -45kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, +70kg c. Duration of contest : Jujitsu Fighting (individual) : 3 minutes Jujitsu Ne Waza : 6 minutes 10. REFEREES Referees are appointed by each nation. Minimum 1 referee is provided by nation. 11. WEIGH-IN The athlete s official weigh-in will be scheduled the day before the competition (see previsionnal program) Friday : Unofficial weigh-in: 18:00 to 19:00 Official weigh-in: 19:00 to 20:00 Saturday: Unofficial weigh-in: 15:00 to 16:00 Official weigh-in: 16:00 to 17:00 12. DRAW a. The draw will be conducted : on 26 th April : at 20:30. Place : Dojo on 27 th April : at 20:30. Place : Grand Dôme b. Each National Federation must send at least one delegate to attend the draw. A maximum of three (3) delegates per National Federation will be authorized. 13. JUDOGI (JUJITSUGI) CONTROL Approved judogi : competitors should wear an JJIF approved judogi/jujitsugi of white color without patch. Outlines 23/01/ Page : 6/10
14. PARTICULAR RULES FOR WOMEN Female contestants shall wear under the jacket either, a round necked plain white or offwhite tee shirt, with short sleeves, made of non-rigid material, long enough to be worn inside the trousers, or a plain white or off-white leotard with short sleeves. No marking should be visible when the judogi is done up. All other regulations must be adhered to. 15. COACHING Code of behavior of coaches as defined JJIF Organization Rules, will be strictly observed, inclusive the Dress Code. The trainers as whom the athletes are qualified for the final phases (places of 3rd and finales), will have to wear a proper clothing (dress code). During the phases eliminating heats bermuda shorts or cap is forbidden. The trainers will have to wear a national jogging. 16. ANTI-DOPING CONTROL Anti-doping control can take place during the competition. 17. VISA The Organizer is happy to help any country with obtaining visa for athletes and officials. For nations, who need VISA to enter FRANCE, please send the Organizer as soon as possible (latest March, 30th) list of participants with full names, passport numbers, date of birth, and positions. FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE All National Federations, officials, coaches and athletes participating in the JUJITSU GRAND SLAM PARIS OPEN have to respect and accept the authority of the JJEU officials, the Statutes, the Sports and Organization Rules, the Refereeing Rules of the International Jujitsu Federation, as well as the WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) rules. 19. ATTENTION VERY IMPORTANT The competitors wearing their white judogi (no shoes, flip flops or socks) will stand behind the podium according to the following order 2,1,3,3. Every competitor having won a medal has to attend the ceremony to receive their medal in person. It is strictly forbidden for competitors on the podium to bring national flags or the similar identification other than the one represented in the regular manner on their equipment.
