The 8.1 no-hit innings were the most by any Rockies pitcher in Denver and the second-most by any pitcher in Denver behind Hideo Nomo's no-hitter at Coors Field on Sept. 17, 1996. The 8.1 no-hit innings were the second-most by a Rockies pitcher in any ballpark behind Ubaldo Jimenez' no-hitter on April 17, 2010 at Atlanta, the only no-hitter in Rockies history. He's the third Rockies pitcher to toss at least eight innings and allow one or fewer hits (Jimenez and Tyler Chatwood, June 6, 2016 at Los Angeles-NL). Freeland threw a career-high 126 pitches, the most by a Rockies starter since Ubaldo Jimenez threw 126 pitches on Aug. 27, 2010 vs. the Dodgers per Elias, no Major League rookie had thrown as many as 125 pitches in one game since Oakland's Guillermo Moscoso tossed 129 pitches against Kansas City on Sept. 7, 2011.
