MHS Cross Country 9.30.2017 New Richmond Invite Girls Comment Sheet Carry the fire. What a wonderful day! We had some amazing performances, history was made, we learned that Hudson is really, really good and we narrowly defeated New Richmond. Despite a few of you ladies running with some serious illnesses, the efforts were outstanding. It was fun to run in good weather again, after a month of races above 80 degrees. On Thursday we did a nice recovery run following The Kenyan. Tyra asked if this, the 2017 team, is my favorite team of all time. Or was it last season, when we had 7 girls earn all conference, had 2 girls run 19:20 or faster and had 4 girls break 20:00 and we made it to state? Or was it 2014, when we shocked everyone and made it to state for the first time in a long time? Or was it the 2009 team the team that was 3 rd at Griak and was poised to go to state before everyone got the Swine Flu (remember the Swine Flu?) I told Tyra that there isn t a favorite. Having a favorite team is like having a favorite kid, and you can t have a favorite kid. Each is unique and different and fun and amazing. So Tyra started to ask about the teams in the past, and I did my best to tell some stories. It was an interesting run. Splits were 8:06, 7:51, 7:31, 7:50. And I talked the entire time. I talked about the first girls teams I coached, told some stories about Tara and MC and Killer. I talked about that great 2009 team and Kiko and Jordan and Courtney and Katie. I talked about the 2012 team with Nicole and Bischel. The run ended and we had an intersquad, but I started to think about the days past. I started coaching back in 1998. I m almost done with my 20 th season. I coached varsity or JV boys until the 2005 season, when I switched over to girls. Back then we had relatively small teams with, maybe, 8-10 girls. Our girls had historically been pretty bad, but we were getting an influx of talent. We needed to pay more attention to them and not just assign assistant coaches to that half of our team. So I took the girls while Topper took the boys. We have always had year-round runners, but this was the time when we started to see larger numbers of girls devote themselves to training. We would meet by the tree in the summer, and in the lobby of the high school in the winter. Fall was cross. Spring was track. Our most dedicated runners would put up between 25-40 miles a week, all four years. There were a lot of Stokkes and 3 Shoppes and Ps. There was a lot of running on the RCT and on Paradise Valley Road. Off-season training wasn t quite as structured early on, but, over time, things started to take shape. By 2008 the program was pretty much the same as it is now. So I reached-out to quite a few of our former runners to ask them about cross country. I wanted them to share some of their memories. These are the ladies that trained, and trained and trained, to make themselves, and our program, better. They ran year round, in most cases, meeting in the lobby or by the tree, putting together 4 track and 4 cross country seasons. Some of them were elite. Others struggled to PR. But all left a huge impression on me and on our program. I didn t reach-out to anyone that any of our current ladies would have run with. So no Ingrid or Boecker or Ellen or Anna or Faustina. No Emma or Erin or Reckin or Tayia. Instead, these are the ladies that came well before you. They carried the fire, and handed it off to other year-round runners, and it was eventually handed to you. So, here you go. Marissa Cassellius (Washington), Class of 2007 5k PR of 21:42 UW LaCrosse - Sociology Hey Olson!! Oh so many memories-- but my favorite was probably just running every day with really fun people. You were such a fun coach and it felt like a family running with Tara, Neebo, killer, Sadie, etc. But I remember having a blast at all the pre meet meals, camping, foot locker roadtrip, meeting during the summer and winter. And the videos!! Are you still doing those? I hope so! Marissa was my BFF during her years. MC Frosh was her nickname, and she kept it with her throughout her high school career all four years. We had nicknames back then. I was Uncle Archie, by the way. MC is the girl on the left in the picture. This was after the River Falls Extreme Meet, and the ladies had smeared mud all over themselves. This group, with Marissa and Tara and Emma Miller and Alyssa Neeb, was the back-bone of our distance crew for quite a few years. MC was a 2:30 800m runner who won 2 conference titles in the 4x800m relay (and she set a bunch of school records with that crew). MC and I ran a ton of miles together over those four years, and she was a great friend.

Emma Miller, Class of 2006 5k PR of 21:40 University of Minnesota (CC) Actuarial Mathematics I'm actually "home" at my parents' place today. I thought I would dig through the old books, binders and meet follow-ups for something good. Almost had a heart attack when it looked like Mom threw them out, but I found them. Extremely impressed now looking back at them. None of my college coaches did anything like this. You guys were awesome If you want something meaningful, my very last xc was pretty special. I'm sure I was stressed out. I was waiting to hear back on schools and scholarships. I didn't know where I was headed. That could've been my last cc race. After the warm up, Topper came up and put his arm around my shoulders and told me it was a great season and to "just go have fun. That totally changed my mentality. I had a great day. I had fun and I PR'd by 32 seconds. Emma was nicknamed The Killer. She s 2 nd from the left in the Extreme Meet picture above. Most of you have met Emma from our time trials. She overachieved more than just about any runner I ve coached. She started out as a very average runner. As a freshmen, she wouldn t have broken 23:30 for 5k (we mostly ran 4ks back then). As a senior, she ran a 16:15 4k (that s definitely sub 20:30). Emma wanted to run in college. She ran 2 years for St. Thomas, making their varsity and running quite well. She transferred to the University of Minnesota, running under legendary coach Gary Wilson, and had a stellar career with a 5k PR in the low 18s. She put in more miles than any girl had, probably, in the history of MHS at that time. She ran year round, running every day, getting stronger and stronger, year after year after year. She finished her career with a 3 rd place finish in the BRC 3200m. It was one of the best races run by an MHS runner. Emma set the standard for what can be accomplished with little talent and a bunch of grit and toughness. Tara McCoy, Class of 2007 5k PR 19:33 (All-BRC in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) Macalester College (CC) - Biology Oh boy. Good times, indeed. I think about those days often and miss you all! We were crazy and you were very tolerant of us. We should plan a reunion dinner at some point and we can review all the top RMS stories (toe story--did that really happen? Wtf.. ha) Tara was Nicole Schmidt before Nicole Schmidt. She qualified for state 3 times in the 800m, crushed our school records in the 800m and 4x800m, and was all-brc 11 times in track and cross country. She was our MVP four years in a row in cross country. She finished 5 th at Griak one year. Tara went on to a stellar career at Macalester, breaking their school records and qualifying for NCAA DIII Nationals. She never really liked running miles in high school. She did it because she knew it was necessary. But when Tara, Neebo, MC Frosh and The Killer would run together, the conversations were amazing. Back then, days one of these ladies would come to class and say, I can t wait for our run this afternoon I have the funniest story to tell. They spent most of their runs talking about boys, and RMSs and just gossiping. Emma was the innocent one. MS Frosh was the funny one. Tara and Neebo had the stories. It was priceless. Noel Burrow, Class of 2008 5k PR of 21:25 University of Minnesota - Nursing Trail running, chatting in our group, pre-meet meals stopping in the creek along that trail to go in the water to cool off in the summer! oh and when everyone went to that campsite for the first "meet" of the season and then we camped overnight and watched scary movie 3!! Noel Burrow didn t run cross as a freshmen. She came out as a sophomore and ran 24:50 for 5k, and her 4k times weren t very fast either. By the end of her senior year she had run 5:36 in the 1600m and her 3200m time was sub 12:25. On one very memorable run, when Noel was a junior, I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew-up? Where did she want to go to college? That kind of thing. She said that she wanted to be a nun, if God called her. Over the course of that run we talked about what that call would be like, and Noel was a great sport about it. It was hilarious. She was one of the most kind and caring runners we ve had. She was selfless with her teammates, she completely bought-in to the training we were doing and she became a year-round runner as a senior. She loved to run in a sports-bra without a shirt, even on really, really cold days. Noel was another runner who overachieved, going from the bottom of the JV squad as a sophomore to a varsity letter and a 4 th place finish in the BRC 3200m as a senior.

Taylor Hayes, Class of 2010 5k PR of 27:59 UW Stout Early Childhood Education The atmosphere and family dynamic for sure. I really loved both the physical and emotional support I received from my coaches and teammates. The sense of team and family we had was unlike anything I ever experienced in another sport or organization. Taylor went to the hospital at least three times as a senior, maybe more, actually, because of her asthma. Taylor knew, every time she lined-up for a race, that she would run herself into an asthma attack. Sometimes she would be able to recover in the 10-15 minutes after her race. Sometimes she wouldn t, and her teammates would find me or Topper, and we would find her mom (who was amazing). Mom would come over and Taylor would lie down with her head in Mom s lap. Taylor would gasp and wheeze and Mom would try to get her to calm down. Sometimes it would work. Sometimes the ambulance had to come and take Taylor to the hospital for oxygen. She had a particularly bad asthma attack at Rice Lake after the conference meet as a senior, her final race ever. As a Junior, Taylor was in our JV pack, and ran a 27:50 or so in the 5k. As a senior, her asthma was really bad. In fact, as a senior I don t think Taylor even beat any opponents, often finishing in last place. But she never once gave up. She never once complained. Imagine that. Imagine how hard it was for Taylor to even start a race, knowing what she had to go through at the end. But she did it, because not racing was never an option. Katie Thoe, Class of 2010 5k PR of 20:33 (All-BRC in 2009) UW Eau Claire (CC) Accounting and Finance Hey Coach! The thing that stands out most when I look back on MHS CC was our collective love/hate relationship with the RCT and the hundreds of miles we ran on it. I actually miss it. Never a dull moment or boring run with that crew! Katie Thoe was never a year-round runner because of her commitment to basketball. She was a 4 year, 3 sport athlete. For all 12 seasons she competed as a member of a MHS team. Katie was one of the first girls to embrace 3 sports over 4 seasons. In the early and mid 2000s, there were very few girls that did 12 sports. We now have a bunch of girls that do 12 sports (Tyra, Erin, Annie, Ellen, Hannah, Madison, among many others). This year, we only have one boy in the entire school, in the graduating class of 2018, that will do 12 sports. Last year only one boy graduated having done 12 sports. Just one. Our boys teams are where our girls teams were in the early 2000s everyone is only in one or two things. Katie, and the ladies in her grade, were the first to bring back the multi-sport athlete. She was an accomplished basketball player, and one of the better runners we ve had. Katie ran a 12:31 in the 3200m on a 90 degree day at the BRC Championships to finish in 3 rd as a junior. It was one of the best races an MHS runner has run. Ever. As a senior, she was on the team that ran 10:10 in the 4x800m relay indoors. Katie was shy, but she worked extremely hard. She liked running, she enjoyed the miles and she was the first to really find balance between basketball and running, knowing that she could be good at both without sacrificing effort in either. Kiko Wemmer Class of 2010 5k PR of 21:09 (all BRC in 2009) U of Chicago (CC) International Studies In a general sense, MHS XC gave me an opportunity to develop confidence as an athlete and a peer leader. High school and adolescence would have been a lot more challenging without the mentorship of you, Topper, and my older teammates; the stability and wellness that a daily exercise routine with friends provides; and the sense of purpose and accomplishment that comes with having and achieving personal and team-oriented goals. In terms of specific memories, there really is no favorite. I loved summer running. I also loved autumn, when the air become cooler and crisper, and all our hard work from the summer started to pay off. I also loved my teammates and my coaches, and how much they made me laugh. My Junior and Senior years of XC were especially great, when the girl's team really started to gel and get competitive. If the team needs inspiration, you can tell them I say, "Keep kicking a**. Super-mega a**. Stay focused. Work together. Kill Hudson. Have fun. Drink water. Wear sunscreen."

Kiko was a great friend and a wonderful runner. She had an incredible kindness and was extremely inclusive of her teammates. She bought-in and became the face of MHS Cross Country all four years. She was a captain for three years, beginning as a sophomore. That doesn t happen very often. Kiko went from being a very average JV runner as a freshman to an all-brc athlete as a senior. When Kiko was on the team, we were able to perfect pack running in races. She was the grandma of the team, and people would follow her lead. The conversations on our runs were always terrific. Kiko carried the fire all four years, running year round, setting an example and buying in. She put-up, perhaps, 5,000 miles before she graduated, and her impact on our program was immense. Kali Hayden (Kolle) Class of 2011 5k PR of 21:48 CVTC - Nursing Oh, well hi! It's not easy to narrow it down... just about everyday of the season and summer running were good memories. The ones that really stand out are the campouts (especially my first year- 2007 (holy sh** I'm getting old) we had a big mud fight since it was raining the whole time out there), every "P" run led to some awesome deep conversations, there was one winter when Kristen and I were the only ones to show during a week of negative 20 wind chill (not the best memory but it sticks out), 2009 (I think) state meet when some of us girls (And a few of the guys) came along to watch Jordan run... we stayed in a hotel next to Kiko's parents and I remember it was over Halloween and I have pictures of us in costumes killing time before/ after the meet. But mostly every race day was memorable (except now that I'm old, I can't seem to keep up with all of the memories)... from the minute we'd get on a bus to the moment we got home. I loved all the people I was surrounded by all four years and the fact that we could all work so well both independently and as a team made for some awesome memories. I definitely miss it. Kali was another great friend. She was on the team in 2009, when we were extremely good, and she was part of an incredibly deep group of JV runners that included Rachel Stairs, Katelyn Lokrantz, Jenna Jasicki and Brittney Krall. They would work together extremely well in their races that season. Kali would constantly be outkicked by Rachel Stairs for the last varsity spot, but she never let it get to her in public, even though she missed out on some varsity races because of our depth. She was a very kind young woman as well, and was always recruiting. She ran all four years, all four seasons, and helped carry the fire. Kali was on the first team that was really deep, and it was at this time that the 5 minute rule was implemented not because of Kali, but because she was able to set that outstanding example of how to deal with a difficult day. Nicole Schmidt Class of 2013 5k PR of 19:48 (all-brc 2009, 10, 11 and 12) University of South Dakota (CC) - Kinesiology When I was training an extra week for state and you and I were running below the football practice fields and there was that huge flooded pond and a squirrel was swimming and I ran through the water and picked up the squirrel by the tail and you yelled "Schmidt drop it! It could have rabies!" I guess that was track. Secret trail. Any time we got Kiko to talk politics and listen to how she was going to change the world. When we won like every meet. Always play Nijna with North at meets because it was the only thing they were good at. Skipping Griak for homecoming my sophomore year. Chasing the LAX bun huggers. Nicole never qualified for state in cross country, although she medaled in Track with a 5 th place finish in the 800m as a senior. Nicole earned all BRC 4 times in cross and 8 times in track, including winning the BRC 400m and 800m twice. Nicole was never a year-round runner, committing to basketball, but her amazing talents showed everyone what was possible. It was very apparent that Nicole was going to be an elite college runner as she started to stack-up the mileage, and that s what has happened. She s now in her final year at South Dakota and she s done extremely well.

Kristen Bischel, Class of 2013 5k PR of 20:38 (all BRC in 2012) Lawrence University (CC) Biochemistry My memory is Griak sophomore year when you and Topper told us to chill out the first half of the race, so Courtney, me, and Katelyn (?) hung out in maybe the middle of the pack and sang the chorus to "Not Afraid" the first K...I think we all finished within the first quarter of the race Kristen was very quiet. I ran more miles with her than I did with just about anyone, and our runs didn t have much conversation. Kiko had graduated. So had Katie. Nicole wasn t a year-round runner at the time. Kieffer s sister, Megan, who was a great kid, she was often busily involved in music and other pursuits, so Megan only ran, perhaps, half the time in the winter. So, for quite a few runs, it was just Bischel. And me. And the run. We would run in silence in the cold. It was peaceful. Over the course of the run we would fall into the same stride, the same breathing, the same patterns. It s like I had a training partner. Bischel liked the miles. She liked training. Bischel carried the fire for a year, as a sophomore. She didn t have anyone to run with until Courtney Sawle s senior year, when Bischel was a junior. The running that Courtney and Bischel did that winter was amazing. We would even occasionally roll-up on Stout girls. Her senior year of cross country was outstanding, and she even earned all-brc honors. Katelyn Lokrantz Class of 2012, 5k PR 21:19 UW Stout Supply Chain Management I have a few you can choose from. 1. Cross Country Time Trials, staying up super late "Star Tipping" where you look at the stars and spin in a circle and then book it down the hill by the cabins. then getting up early and going for runs. 2. winning best sophomore, junior, and senior with Nathan Mollan 3. winning my only race as a JV runner at Rice Lake coming in 20 seconds ahead of 2nd place 4. Eating "Heaven" at pre race meals. (it was that Oreo whipped stuffed that was (is) literally heaven on earth) 5. Decorating and sharing the "workouter of the workout" award and getting to sign your name on it and keep it. That was pretty neat. 6. Watching the videos at the end of the season, and remembering how flattering "burping up waffles" is! lol! 7. Runs on the RCT with Mrs. Behrend and hearing about how much she loves Bruce Springstein 8. Spending everyday running with your team, in general was always the best. I have made many lifelong friendships out of randomly joining cross country (thanks to Rachel Stairs) and so rain or shine. good mood or bad, everyone was always there and ready to run. And I do miss that too! As you can see from the above response, Katelyn always had something to say. She was funny, tough and she did a great job keeping practice fun and enjoyable. I don t know when the workouter of the workout started, but it was sometime during this era. Kaylynn had the most random things to say on runs, and training with her was always an adventure. When it came time to work, Katelynn was tough. Every other time, and I mean every single other time, she was goofy.

You ladies, the girls on this year s team, are part of the line. Just as these ladies left MHS Cross Country in better shape then they found it, you ladies are responsible for keeping the line going for making the team better, for carrying on our traditions. You ladies are responsible for carrying the fire. Right now there are 1 st grade girls in our school system. They will be high school freshmen in 8 years, and juniors in 10 years. What kind of team are you leaving them? We have an outstanding group of 8 th grade runners. They will graduate from high school the same year this years seniors graduate from college. What kind of team do they get? Will they go to Griak? Will they go to Old Abe? Who will their rivals be? Who will lead? I m comforted knowing that the line will continue, no matter what happens. Someone will carry the fire next year, and five years from now, and 10 years from now. Someone will be in the lobby in the winter, and at the track in the summer (we don t meet by the tree anymore). There will be a group of girls carrying the fire, thanks to all that have come before and lit the way forward. NEW RICHMOND INVITE Well, that was fun. Now it s on to the New Richmond Invite. We FINALLY got some good weather, and the course ran faster than it did last year. Of course, last year the race was run during Homecoming, and quite a few of you girls were somewhere else mentally. I remember being upset last year, not at the times, but at the distractions. This year it was a totally different experience. History was made. We ve never had two MHS girls break 20:00 at the same meet this early in the season. We ve had multiple girls break 20:00 at the BRC meet, or at Old Abe on that fast course, but never on a course like New Richmond, and never this early. Grace ran 19:49, her fastest time since her sophomore year, and her 2 nd fastest time ever. She finished in 2 nd place overall. And you can t spell Race without Grace. I d say this was the best race she s run since the 2015 BRC meet, and if Grace can continue to get a little stronger she s going to make a run at our school record. Tyra ran 19:56, her 3 rd fastest time ever. She s never broken 20:00 this early, having run 20:11 at this meet last year before running 19:20 at Old Abe last season. And she s still a little sick. We ve never had a girl run sub 19:00. Our school record is 19:07, set by Emma last year. Tyra and Grace can both do it. They are both in position to go after that record next Saturday at Old Abe. BUT, they can t do it alone. For most of the race, Tyra was about 20 meters behind Grace. They were together at the K, but not quite at the mile. You ladies need to geese-up, stay together and run with a purpose. If you are both feeling well, that record is yours on Saturday. As for Emily, you can see that she s just about ready to break-out with a huge race. She s soooo close. 20:33 is a great time, especially considering that she ran 21:17 at this meet last year before breaking 20:00 at Sectionals. Kaylynn is nearly ready to break-out as well. Sleep, relaxation, some easy running over the next week and she s going to have a huge end of the season, just like last year. As I ve mentioned before, you can either start the season fast or finish the season fast. You can t do both. It just doesn t work that way. Our entire training plan is predicated on finishing fast. We don t work-out over the summer. We do base mileage. To have Tyra and Grace and Emily running so fast this early is really something. Kaylynn is right there, ready to break out as well. We re close, ladies. Very close. One thing, though, is that the pack isn t staying together very well. You were very anty, and not very geesy. I d like to see you ladies working together a little longer. We might have to do pairings instead of a pack, but if you can work together it s going to be much easier at Old Abe to put up a great PR. Heck, you five were able to work together all week! Mackenzie talked herself out of her race before the gun went off. She was sick. OK. But let s use some perspective here. You re fitness is so great that a small illness won t do much to hurt your race. Tyra has been sick for quite a while, and she broke 20:00. Grace was under the weather. Kaylynn has been ill, too. It s just a cold. Sometimes you have your best races ever when you are sick. Kenzie, relax. It s just a race. It s supposed to be fun! You ended-up getting out really slow, then you felt better, then you cranked out a sub 7:40 for the final 1800m. Relax. Sit on Emily s shoulder. Let her do the work. You are a great runner, capable of pounding out mile after mile on the trail. Relax. You ve done more work than anyone this off-season. Just chill, let yourself have a great race. You re sub 21:00 is right there! Go and get it on Saturday!

As for Madee, holy cow she was sick. Coughing and coughing and coughing. Izzy seemed to be a bit under the weather as well, after an awesome The Kenyan. In fact, I thought both Madee and Izzy had very good efforts during The Kenyan. It takes a lot of courage to run those races when you know it s going to be tough, but Madee gutted it out very well. Saturday is Madee s favorite course of all time. With some sleep, some rest and a nice, easy week, we ll hopefully see a great performance from the gritty veteran. As for Izzy, she nearly puked on the homestretch. It was awesome!! In the JV race, we saw Clara break-out. She ran sub 23:00 for the first time in nearly four years. She hasn t broken 23:00 since Old Abe her freshmen year. How long has it been since Clara has been this close to the varsity letter standard! With Old Abe on Saturday, she has a great shot at that letter!! Even with her knee bothering her, she ran an outstanding race. Very even splits, nice and relaxed. It was awesome. Annie was a hurting kid as well. Hips. Hip flexors, maybe? Still, the time wasn t all that bad. Last year she ran in the mid 24 s at this meet and she came back to break 23:00 at Old Abe. Jordan also struggled. Her hips are hurting as well. The thing is, neither Annie or Jordan had their worst race of the season. Not by a long shot. They had gutsy performances. And look at the picture to the left. Look at Jordan s huge, amazing leg muscle. The plan for this week is to give Jordan and Annie a few days off of running. They get to come to practice and ice, then go home. They will do that through Wednesday, then we can run on Thursday and pre-meet on Friday. Jordan s season is winding down, and Annie s career is almost over. Let s go out with a bang at Old Abe! Caitlin and Abbey are such an amazing team. Shoulder to shoulder, working hard together every step of the race. Both had significant PRs on Saturday. Both broke 25:00 for the first time ever. Both are really starting to get fit. Can they both break 24:00 at Old Abe? I think so. FIVE MINUTE RULE GENTLE REMINDER I thought there was a bit of whining after the meet. I know some of you are hurting. I know some of you are sick. I know some of you want more, but we have a five minute rule for a reason. Stop whining, and if you can t do it, go to the woods. Get it out of your system. Be a good teammate. Be a good friend. I didn t really like the attitudes from the varsity ladies. That s why I grabbed you and we ran for 15 minutes and I tried to talk about nothing and get you to relax a bit. It s just one race. Sometimes it s difficult. Sometimes you have a bad day. Let it go, move on and be a good teammate to those that ran well, please. It s not that there was even anything specific, mind you. I didn t see anything horrible. But you ladies weren t your usual peppy selves. I know that homecoming is coming up. I know many of you have commitments with STUCO and we have three girls on court. I know that some of you are buried under a wall of schoolwork. I get it. But, let s have some fun. I had fun! Be goofy. Dance. Relax. Clap hands. One bad race (and no one had a really bad race) isn t worth a pout. BACK TO THE JV RACE Jess had a break-out race. She looked sooo tough. Is she almost to the point where we can place her with Abbey and Caitlin? We re getting closer and closer. Last year she ran in the low 27 s at this meet, this year the mid 26s. Jess didn t really break-out until the BRC meet last year at Rice Lake. She s about 30 seconds ahead of where she was last year, so I thin we re

going to see a sub 26:00 at Old Abe. As for Holly, the workout was just outstanding on Tuesday. Her Kenyan was a 2 mile warm-up, then a mile at pace, then a mile jog, then a mile at pace, then a mile and a half cool-down. She had tremendous concentration, discipline and toughness in the workout. The race went well until about the half-way point, then it got tough for her. Holly needs to run in the 27 s on Saturday, if not faster. That s about 8:40 pace. I know she can do it. If she can put-up that amazing Kenyan, she can certainly run 8:40s for 5k, especially on one of her favorite courses in Eau Claire. START FAST OR FINISH FAST? As I mentioned earlier, you can either start fast or finish fast. Look at the chart on the right. Look at our progress from Husy to New Richmond some huge improvements from Tyra and Grace. Kaylynn, Mackenzie and Emily, your break-out races are coming on Saturday. They are coming. Just get some sleep, relax and get ready for The Taper, because it s coming. HOMECOMING WEEK It s homecoming week. I know that it is stressful. I know that many of you ladies have commitments the skits, running the assembly, working extremely hard with STUCO and a few of you are even on the court. Enjoy it, but get some sleep, please.
