WHY OKLAHOMA? I chose to go to OU because the school has so much to offer as well as so much tradition. The people have been so welcoming and the education is one of the best around. Lastly, the volleyball team is improving every year. Coach Restrepo and the players have the same passion and winning mentality that I do for volleyball. -Freshman Sarah Machen Growing up in Norman, I have been a Sooner all of my life. It is so exciting to be a part of the team and to now be a part of the OU spirit that surrounds the university. -Freshman Jasmine Powell Coach showed a great interest in me when he was recruiting me and I loved how he coached his team. I committed when I was young because I knew this was where I wanted to be. -Freshman Samantha Arriaran I wanted to play for Oklahoma because of Coach Restrepo s good reputation and strong passion for the game. He knows how to be serious and to have fun at the same time while creating a positive atmosphere. -Freshman Chrissy Dissarro I came here because I wanted to play for Coach Restrepo and I know that if I work hard and give it 100 percent every day, he will make me the best player I can be.
