Appanoose County Selected for Substance Abuse Prevention Grant The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has awarded Sieda Community Action five-year funding to implement the Iowa Partnerships for Success (IPFS) Project in Appanoose County. The Iowa Partnerships for Success Project is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, and is part of a federal grant to help reduce and address the problems associated with underage and youth binge drinking. Appanoose County is among 12 counties in Iowa who have received funding from IDPH. The IPFS grant allows Sieda and community partners to continue their prevention efforts of reducing underage drinking in Appanoose County.
