January 28, 2017 Greetings! On behalf of the Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association, we would like to welcome you to IndoorRAMa, our Indoor Color Guard and Percussion competition on February 11, 2017 at the Central Dauphin High School. The contests are sanctioned by KIDA. We look forward to welcoming all of you to our wonderful high school facility at the intersection of Piketown Road and Route 39 (Linglestown Road) in Harrisburg. We hope you will find the following information helpful: Attachments Facility map and gym floor map Performance schedule with warm-up times and locations Equipment storage map and Performers waiting area map Parking Lot Instructions Menu Schedule of Events 12:00 PM Doors open for Units. 1:00 PM Doors open for Spectators and Food Court opens. 2:00 PM Show time! Arrival and Check-In Please enter the school through the doors marked with the Participant Entrance sign. Participants will receive wrist bands upon check in. Directors will receive 2 wrist bands to use for themselves and 8 wrist bands for staff. All others including chaperones, will be expected to pay admission ($10 adults, $7 students seniors). At the check-in table, you will receive a packet with information including layout of the school (locker rooms, restrooms, and food court) and location of the holding area in the auditorium. Equipment Unloading and Loading and Bus/Truck Parking You will unload equipment around the corner from the participant entrance (see map). A loading dock is available for your convenience or you may park curbside at the dock area to unload. You will be shown to your equipment storage area. Please do not unload equipment at the Participant Entrance. The parking lot adjacent to the participant entrance is reserved for bus and truck parking only. Please do not use this parking lot for rehearsing or mat re-folding! At the completion of your performance, you will exit through the Participant Entrance (the same door your unit walked in through, not where you unloaded) to load your truck.
Sound Checks and Announcements Please take your music CD directly to the sound tech s table in the gym. Sound checks are preferred between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and during the intermission after the first awards ceremony. If you are not here for those times, we can do it also at the mid-session break. Directors Lounge Please visit our Directors Lounge which is located beside the Judges Room. Here, you and your staff will find some light snacks and cold beverages compliments of the Central Dauphin Band Boosters. No students please. CDs You may pick up your CD at the announcers table in the gym. Go to the tabulator area if you need assistance with results. Viewing the Show The rear upper level of the gym is available for all participants to watch the show. Stairs to the upper level are located outside of the gym. Also, we will broadcast the show in the Food Court so that you won t miss a minute of the performances. Concessions The kitchen will close at 8 pm. Handicapped Entrance The Spectator s Entrance is at the school cafeteria. Please inform any handicapped spectators that they can enter at the Participant s Entrance, which is closer to the gym and does not require the use of stairs. An elevator is available if they do enter at the Spectator s Entrance. The elevator can also be used to access the 2 nd floor of the gym which is a good viewing spot for the show. Turn right off the exit onto Route 39 West and proceed 2 miles to the traffic light at Piketown Road. Turn left onto Piketown Road and take the first left into the school. Parking lot attendants will be available to direct you. From the south or west Follow Interstate 81 North to the Linglestown Exit 72B. Go north on Mountain Road for 1 mile. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto PA 39E/Linglestown Rd. Continue for 1.5 miles to the traffic light at Piketown Road. Turn right onto Piketown Road and take the first left into the school. Parking lot attendants will be available to direct you.

Unit registration is in the gym lobby. Trucks should unload at the loading dock near the wood shop or along the sideway near the band room. All buses and trucks should park in the lot adjacent to the gym/ auditorium entrance Handicapped guests may park in the handicapped spaces (front row) in the truck/bus parking lot. They may enter through the Participant (P) entrance since it is a much shorter walk to the gym. Volunteers should park in the small lot across from the band room. All other spectators should park in the large lot behind the school.
