3 PLAYING OF GAMES IN MARSHALLING/ POOL VICINITY BANNED ALL GAMES INVOLVING BALLS, FRISBEES, TOYS or anything that may roll, fly, slide, bounce etc NEAR OR INTO the pool ARE BANNED to prevent any disruption to the club night program. If a ball should accidently go into the pool during an event, it may cause the Referee to declare a no race. This could prove disappointing to the competitors in the event who may be seeking qualifying times, Club Records or PBs, as well as earning points in a Championship event. Please be considerate of the swimmers competing in the pool. Slop on SPF 30+ screen make sure it s broad spectrum and, water resistant and reapplied at least every couple of hours. Slap on a hat make sure it s a brimmed hat that covers the face, neck, head and ears. Seek shade Slide on some sunglasses close fitting, wrap-around styles offer the best protection. And remember to take extra care between 10:00am and 3:00pm when UV radiation is most intense.

Thank you in advance. Until further notice, eating and drinking are no longer permitted in the Clubhouse due to food and drink rubbish being been left behind instead of being put in a bin. Over the top Starts may be implemented at the Referee s discretion on club nights to speed up proceedings on any events of distances of 50m or over. After completing a Freestyle, Butterfly or Breaststroke event, the competitor stays in the water against the wall until after the start of the next race. For Backstroke, competitors will position themselves on the lane rope two meters from the wall. When the following competitor dives over the top of the previous swimmer, he may leave the water.
