As at close of entries. No exceptions. Skaters are entitled to a full refund prior to draw only with a medical certificate and must be notified in writing by email to comp@actisa.asn.au. There will be no other refunds. Must be submitted with entry forms by the closing date for entries for all divisions except Aussie Skate half ice, Theatre on Ice and Solo Dance. The schedule is subject to change, and skaters should be ready to skate at least 30 minutes before the published time for their division. Skaters who have not registered by the start of their warm up may be considered withdrawn. Any official from the 2016 ISA List of Officials is invited to nominate with the permission of their State Association. The panels will be made up by the ACTISA Judging Convener. Email judge@actisa.asn.au MARKING Aussie Skate Events and Theatre on Ice All Other Divisions Closed Marking (6.0 system) ISU Judging System REGISTRATION COACHES All skaters (including Aussie Skate) are required to register their arrival inside the entrance to the Rink beginning 30 minutes prior to the start of the events each day. Officials please give your name at the ticket office and make your way to the Officials area on the right hand side of the ice. Only APSA accredited coaches will be permitted at the barrier with skaters during warm-up and competition. 2016 NFC Announcement Page 2 of 5

MUSIC All competitors are to submit a copy of their music electronically prior to close of entries. Music should be emailed to acticemusic@gmail.com Skaters in the ACT can upload their music directly at the Phillip Swimming and Ice Skating rink at the following time: Thurs 11 August 17.45-18.30. Music should be in high quality MP3 format. The music file should be titled with Division-Program-SkaterName (no full stops or spaces) For IJS levels - the Program will be titled with Freeskate (FS) or Short Program(SP) For example: Preliminary-FS-HeatherJones For Aussie Skate (AS) levels please use AS-level for Division-Program For example: AS-Intermediate1-DanielSmith For Artistic Competitors please use ARTISTIC-Div3-RubySmith One file should be submitted per skating program. All competitors must also have a backup of their competition music available on an audio quality CD. The CD must contain only ONE track, and must be marked with the: Competitor s Name Competition Division, e.g. Division 4: Preliminary Program Identification, e.g. Artistic Program Running time of music (NOT skating time) Aussie Skate levels from Tiny Tots to Intermediate and Solo Dance competitors are not required to submit music as background music is provided. The electronic playlist will be deleted at the end of the competition. All queries should be directed to acticemusic@gmail.com AWARDS RESULTS ENTRY FEE TO RINK PER DAY PRACTICE TIMES ANTI-DOPING Trophies will be presented to the first three place getters (singles, pair, dance and team) in each event and all competitors will receive a certificate of participation. All members of the first three placed Theatre on Ice teams will also receive a medal. Published at and the rink notice board. As determined by rink management. All entries are to be paid at front office. Chaperone passes will not be issued with entries. No official practice ice will be provided but normal figure skating sessions will be available for practice. Please contact the rink for details. PHOTOGRAPHY VIDEO RECORDING PUBLICITY RESPONSIBILITY An official photographer has been appointed for this event. Photos are available for viewing and purchase. Private photography of skaters on the ice is NOT PERMITTED. Video recording is only permitted in a designated video recording area and by authorised persons for personal use only unless otherwise agreed. Please obtain a permit at no cost, from the Registration Desk. PLEASE CONSIDER THE SAFETY OF OUR SKATERS AND REFRAIN FROM USING FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. Photographs and video recordings may be used for publicity purposes by ACTISA and ACTISA authorised bodies. ACTISA Inc, its officers, members, employees and agents will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage sustained by any competitor or official as a direct or consequential result of participation in the competition. It should be noted that an open swimming pool is situated close to the ice rink and parents and guardians are responsible for supervision of their children at all times to ensure their safety. Please Note: Incomplete entries WILL NOT be accepted. All forms including signatures must be completed in full and submitted with payment, music, music form, and PPC. Entries returned for correction and resubmitted after close of entries will be subject to a late fee.
