Points toward Distinguished Pistol Designation and Excellence-in-Competition medals will be issued by the CMP in accordance with CMP Regulations. Pistols must conform to CMP rules. Competitors must furnish their own ammunition. Competitors are required to be at their assigned points promptly to perform scoring duties and service targets. Garand Match May 29th, 2016 M1 Garand Infantry Challenge Styled after the National Infantry Trophy Match: Competitors will be allowed 2 sighting shots at the 600 yard-line followed by a 50 second target exposure. All entry fees are to be placed in the pot. The competitor with the most hits in their silhouette wins the pot. Competitors must furnish their own ammunition. Both As-Issued or Unlimited M1 Garands are allowed in this match. GENERAL INFORMATION: No lunch break on either day Bring whatever you require to sustain you through the matches.
