Brokers Athle cs Success! On Monday this week, several of our students went with Miss Randall, Mr Stanley and Miss Munro to par cipate in the Brokers District Athle cs Carnival at Beaton Park. It was a cold and wet one, with the grounds being soaked earlier in the day meaning some events were postponed un l later in the day. Despite the cold, miserable weather, our CEPS students did us proud, pu ng in a massive effort. Several students even came away with a ribbon and an invita on to par cipate at the South Coast Carnival to be held in a few weeks. Congratula ons to all our par cipants but an extra special congratula ons goes to Ciara Wade, who was the U11s Girls Age Champion on the day. All the CEPS staff are very proud of all our students and we wish our Brokers Representa ves luck at the South Coast Carnival. Touch Footy Report On Friday of Week 2, our Corrimal East Touch Football Boys and Girls teams par cipated in their PSSA knockout games at Corrimal East home grounds. The Girls played against Figtree Public School. It was a great game to watch, the girls played really well and came away with a 7 1 win. The boys played against Fairy Meadow Dem School. It was a close game with both teams pu ng in a massive effort. It was a li le touch and go towards the end of the match, with Fairy Meadow scoring some good last minute tries. Fortunately the final score was 7 4, with Corrimal East walking away with the win! A special thanks to our NSW Touch Volunteer Coach, Rob and Mr Stanley for pu ng in lots of me and effort to coach our teams. They have learned a lot and come a long way this year.
