Advance Test 1 (DSA 2010), 20x60 arena NAMIBIAN DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS N$250 per championship The Championships shall not be staged, nor prizes awarded, unless at least 2 (two) entries are received and 2 (two) riders competed in the first competition. The Championships shall not be classed or graded, or prizes awarded, unless the winner achieves at least 60% or above of the total marks available. The Championships will consist of 3 (three) Dressage competitions, of which the first two count as qualifiers for the final test, which must be a Musical Freeystle competition. There will be one warm up competition for each class which does not count towards the Championship.
All individual Championship tests shall be ridden without a whip, even though stated to the contrary on the test. In the event of equality of points for first place in the Children, Junior or Adult Championships, the collective marks will be added together and the horse with the highest collective marks shall be placed first. If the total collective marks are also equal then the horses concerned shall share joint first place. Prizes will be split between the Juniors and Adults in the Championships. Competition 2 Round 1 FEI 238.1.1 N$120.00 GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS All horses and riders participating in any graded competition have to be registered with NAMEF or any other federation affiliated to the FEI prior to the entry closing date of the tournament. International riders must provide proof of registration with their National Federation. All riders should familiarise themselves with the article 1. 20 (Veterinary Matters) as per the NAMEF Rules and Regulations 7th Edition 2013. 1. All competitions will be ridden according to rules and regulations of FEI and NAMEF (Refer to www.namef.org.) 2. All horses must be in possession of a valid passport which is up to date with all the vaccinations as stipulated by the Namef rules. The organisers reserve the right to request the owner/rider to produce the passport of any horse participating in the show or brought onto the premises of GCW. Friday, 5th June @ 16h00: VET INSPECTION for all horses participating in the FEI Gauntlet and Namibian Dressage Championships NB: All other passports must be dropped off on Friday before 09h00 at the GCW Rondavel. 3. CLOSING DATE for entries: 22 May 2015 4. STABLING FEE: N$ 60-00 per horse per day/night (excluding grass). Any early arrivals and/or late departures must be noted on the entry form. Competitors must supply their own food, grass, water troughs, buckets and bedding for horses. 5. ENTRY FEE: As indicated in the schedule
6. FIRST AID FEE: N$ 80-00 per rider 7. Neither NAMEF, GCW, their officials, sponsors or representatives, nor the organizers, shall in any way be held responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury sustained by horses, riders, the public or their property at the show, caused by, or resulting from this show. 8. Dogs brought to the premises of the Gymkhana Club Windhoek must be kept on a leash AT ALL TIMES. 9. The organisers reserve the right to: 9.1 Cancel or combine (with relevant handicap) any of the programmed competitions, should too few entries be received for such a competition, or in the event of inclement weather; 9.2 Combine two or more competitions into one, with handicap for higher grades; 9.3 Amend the time schedule mentioned in the programmed events; 9.4 Change the starting order of riders in competitions where the need arises; and 9.5 Postpone or cancel the tournament in part or completey, in case of unforeseen and /or special circumstances. 10. Riders entering more than one horse in a competition may choose the starting order of his/her horses. Please indicate starting order on the entry form. 14.
