Dan B., got the club started with the Pledge, Song from Bob L., and prayer from Francie V. Guest for the evening was Louise Pelchat wife of Bob P.. With this being our first meeting for the month of March Birthdays are in order and this month its Glenn T. on the 10th. Send him birthday wishes on the 10th. Committees: Attendance committee Chairs., Bethany P. and Jennifer A. are marking the board as we get closer to the end into week 7 and TEAM 1 continues to move ahead 176 points, while

Check with Yvonne Thomas for date. Guest Speaker Team 2 is falling behind with 160 points. Next week will be Green Attire. Bob P. thanked everyone that participated at the St. Vincent card Party last Tuesday, It was a great success. Tim B. Announced that the Bike rodeo will take place on Saturday May 14th. The order is in for the helmets. Tim mentioned that he also applied for a Wal-mart grant. Please mark this date on your calendar. Treasurer Priscilla C passed out the Capers tickets to those who were present. She ask to sell them as quickly as you can. Letters have been sent out for donations and some are coming in. April 8th is the Capers night. Susan G. spoke on the Read Around The world program. There are 56 kids in Gorham and that will be done in April and the Christian Bible Academy will also be done April. Francie V. and Janet R. completed the 9am session at Brown School and had 24 students. Roland O. and Glenn T. Had the 9:30 reading followed by Yvonne T and Roland O. were on at 10 am. Janet and Priscilla went to the Milan School they had 16 students. A great time was had by all. Other Happenings: Happy dollars for this evening were from Bethany P., Susan G., Diane B., Janet R., Paul F., Tim B., Louise P., Roland O., Jaimie P., and Ashley L. Finds are always in order and Paul F. tried to fine Bob L. for singing the same song over again Not passed. Diane B. also went after a fine on Bob L. for not singing Let me call you sweetheart at St. Vincent. Passed. Ed. B. in turn cast a fine on Bob L. for calling the ladies at the table creatures. Past. Ashley L., fined Jaimie P., for not inviting Ashley to Lilly birthday party. Passed. Roland O. spoke on the winter bocce and a great time we all had in Colebrook followed by a great meal. Thanks to the members that attended Roland O., Joan P., Paul L., Francie V., Priscilla C., Bob L. Tim B., Mary Lou B. Lt. Governor remarks: A reminder to the Berlin Club, Colebrook Club and the St. Johnsbury Club, Mount Washington Valley Club. that our division (7) is looking for a Lt. Gov. for the 2016-17 year. A Division Caucus will be held on March 12 at the Northland Dairy Bar beginning at Noon. Any Club with questions on the Caucus please let me know. If any Club has a candidate please let me know. I would appreciate a head count so I can notify the Dairy Bar for attendance. All members are invited to attend.

St. Johnsbury Captures the winter Bocce in Colebrook L-R Joan P. Thad T. Dexter W. and Midge L. With a light breeze and some sun it was a great day for bocce as the Division 8 teams gathered at the Country Club for this annual event. With double eliminations Berlin went into the court in hopes of recapturing the thing (trophy) but Berlin Team 1 lost to St. J. but team 2 beat Colebrook. Colebrook then lost to team 1 Berlin. Berlin s two teams fought it out to play against St. Johnsbury Berlin team 1 won but were defeated by the St. Johnsbury crew. Congratulations St. Johnsbury. We will try harder next year.
