4th of July Weekend Recap This years 4th of July celebration was one we will never forget! We had lots of guests who braved the rain showers and went floating on the river and riding on the trails. On the night of the 4th we lucked out with some beautiful weather so we could enjoy the fireworks! It was a firework show that was not to be missed! Later that evening we enjoyed a night full of music, dancing, and karaoke. Thank you to everyone that braved the weather to stay with us at The Flying R Ranch!
Chuck Wagon Races and Rodeo Recap Wow what an amazing weekend we had at the 1st Annual Chuck Wagon Races and Rodeo here at the Flying R Ranch on July 29th, 30th, and 31st! Over 2,000 campers, racers, and spectators came out and enjoyed the festivities! We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported us! If you would like to reserve your same RV site for next year s Chuck Wagon Races and Rodeo you must call and reserve by 5 pm on August 31st! If you would like to reserve a new spot, all available spots will be up for grabs starting on September 1st. Call for details.

The owners are wonderful people that went above and beyond to host an amazing race. Your place is beautiful! On behalf of our race family we thank you for such a great weekend! Their food was delicious. Room was neat and clean. They have great stalls for your mule or horse. Would go there again soon. Loved it!! Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings Ingredients 2 Tablespoons Butter 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast (or 6 skinless chicken thighs) 1 Onion, finely diced 2 cans of Cream of Chicken Soup 2 small packages Grands Jr biscuits (10 biscuits) Flour Directions 1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a greased slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover. 2. Secure lid and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, roll each torn biscuit piece in flour (to prevent them from sticking together), then drop into the slow cooker. Replace lid and cook remaining 30 minutes.
