Brittany Rescue (Please note new info) Would you please help a Brittany in need? In 2005 American Brittany Rescue helped nearly 1000 Brittanys find new homes. Despite this staggering number, we also lost hundreds more. We lost them simply because we had no place for them to go. Foster homes are desperately needed in your state! Short term safety for a Brittany while a forever home is sought could help save many of them. Transporting them to safety is another way to help. For more information or to sign up - contact us at http://www.americanbrittanyrescue.org/index.php? module=pagesetter&func=viewpub&tid=3&pid=3 1-866-BRIT911 (toll free phone number) American Brittany Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization supported by adoption donations and tax deductible donations from the public. Your support is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us! Thank you, Rhonda Carlson American Brittany Rescue, Inc http://www.americanbrittanyrescue.org PA /CT/RI State Coordinator Wendy Boyce NY/MA/NH/VT State Coordinator Sue Drzewicki Phone 516-489-6112 e-mail - r1u2s2@hotmail.com A Letter From Rhonda Carlson Gabby and Max s story is one we are hearing more and more often in these economic times. Their owners were losing their home and surrendered them to a Pennsylvania shelter. The shelter contacted ABR and they were placed in foster homes in New Jersey. They are two of the fortunate ones as with the rise in incoming Brittanys and the limited foster homes, they were given a second chance at a new forever home. Gabby and Max (now renamed Tiberius) are doing great in their new homes and their new owners couldn t be happier! Gabby, the wonder dog, has brought joy and laughter back into our lives. From her "happy dance" for breakfast and dinner to her leaps and bounds when she catches her "football", her intelligence and loving nature shine through. She welcomes our friends and family members with a bark at first, but soon the little tail begins to wag. Jeff is teaching her to accept other dogs that we meet on our walks with just a glance. She is also learning the fun of being outside with boundaries using her invisible fence collar. At first, she was nervous and unsure. Well, so were we. However, with patience, love and time she has become the third member of our family. Jeff and Marlene Lambert

Page 3 Since joining his people, in Alexandria Virginia, Tiberius has truly found his forever home. He has become much more comfortable and social around other dogs and enjoys playing with his friends at Dogs Day Out Daycare. He is also becoming more secure in knowing that his home is permanent and less nervous when meeting new people. Some of his favorite things to do are cuddling, wrestling, playing training games, cuddling, going for runs and cuddling. But the best time of the day is when his people come home and he becomes the happiest dog. Lindsay and Jason Cameron If you have every thought about helping a Brittany in need now is the time with the number of incoming Brittanys increasing we can sure use all the help we can get.
