Tip-off is scheduled for just after 7:30 p.m., but fans are encouraged to come early and find their seats, as the Senior Night ceremonies honoring Shore Adenekan, Jarell Flora, Emerson Murray, and Isiah Umipig will start at 7:14 p.m. There is a lor on the line in this contest, especially seeding in the WAC Tournament, as it is desirable for both teams to be on the opposite side of the bracket as WAC regular season champion New Mexico State. THE CHICAGO STATE GAME: For the second time over the past two weeks, Seattle University held its opponent to a historically low point total, as the Redhawks shut down the Chicago State offense on their way to a 57-31 victory over the Cougars last Saturday night at KeyArena. Chicago State never held the lead in the game as Seattle U scored the first eight points and went wire-to-wire with the victory. William Powell scored 11 points, pulled down eight rebounds, dished out three assists, and earned both a blocked shot and a steal. Isiah Umipig also scored 11 points, plus he collected a team-high three steals, while Jadon Cohee and Emmanuel Chibuogwu each finished with eight points and four rebounds off the bench. Although he did not score any points, Emerson Murray ran the offense with precision as he dished out six assists to go along with five rebounds. As a team, Seattle U shot 55.3 percent (21- of-38) from the field, including 4-of-12 from behind the three-point line, and 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the free throw line. WHERE TO CATCH THE GAME: Saturday s game is being broadcast by the American Sports Network and will be shown by KOMO-2 (channel 94 on Wave Broadband, channel 328 on Comcast). It will also be streamed online at www.americansportsnet.com. Those with DirecTV and Dish can find the game on MASN, channel 640 for DirecTV customers and channel 432 for Dish subscribers. The game will also be broadcast on 770 AM KTTH with Dave Grosby and Gary Hill Jr., beginning with the pregame show shortly before tipoff.

SCOUTING BAKERSFIELD: The Roadrunners enter Saturday s game with a 13-16 overall record after defeating Bristol University Tuesday night, 95-81. After starting the season 1-10, Bakersfield has put together a 12-6 record since Dec. 20, including a 55-52 victory over California in Berkeley. The Roadrunners are scoring 64.8 points per game and giving up 62.2 points per contest. As a team, Bakersfield is shooting 42.7 percent from the field, including 34.1 percent from behind the three-point line, and 72.5 percent from the free throw line. Aly Ahmed leads the team in scoring with 14.1 points per game, as he is shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 76.2 percent from the free throw line. He is also averaging 7.1 rebounds per game, just behind team leader Kevin Mays, who is averaging 8.0 rebounds per game to go along with 9.7 points per game. SEATTLE U VS. BAKERSFIELD: In a series of streaks, Bakersfield leads Seattle U, 7-4, heading into Saturday s 12th all-time meeting between the two schools. Bakersfield won the first three games, Seattle U took the next four contests, and now the Roadrunners bring a four-game winning streak over the Redhawks into Saturday s game. In this season s previous meeting in Bakersfield Jan. 31, a William Powell layup with 4.5 seconds remaining in overtime tied the game, but Bakersfield would pull away in the extra session for a 71-61 overtime victory. Powell collected a thencareer high 16 points, plus he earned four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Emerson Murray notched a doubledouble with 11 points and 10 rebounds, plus he dished out seven assists. Aly Ahmed and Kevin Mays each notched double-doubles as Bakersfield dominated the boards with 40 rebounds, including 17 offensive rebounds. Ahmed earned 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Mays contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds, helping the Roadrunners score 18 second-chance points during the game. WAC WEEKLY HONORS: William Powell was named WAC Player of the Week on Feb. 23 afte helping the Redhawks defeat Missouri-Kansas City and Chicago State. He averaged 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in the two games, including a career-high scoring performance of 17 points against UMKC. For the second time in the span of three weeks and fourth time in his Seattle U career, Isiah Umipig was named the WAC Player of the Week Jan. 19 after averaging 17.5 points per game in victories over Texas Pan American and New Mexico State. He scored 28 points against the Broncs before using his veteran leadership in Seattle U s victory over New Mexico State. Umipig was previously named WAC Player of the Week on Jan. 5 after a 33-point effort against UC Davis. Jarell Flora was named WAC Player of the Week on Dec. 1 after earning 23 points and nine rebounds in Seattle U s 70-58 victory over Cal State Northridge on Nov. 29. NCAA STATISTICAL RANKINGS: Through Feb. 24, Isiah Umipig is third in Division I in made 3-pointers per game (3.65), second in total 3-pointers made (95), and 14th in 3-point field goal percentage (43.8%). SUNDERHAUS OUT FOR SEASON: For the second straight year, forward Deshaun Sunderhaus suffered a season-ending injury to his left knee. This time, it happened early in the second half of the Dec. 15 game against Northwest University at the Connolly Center, when he was grabbed as he went up for a layup and his knee buckled as he came down. Once again, the injury happened just as Sunderhaus was playing his best basketball, as he was coming off a 15-point performance in Seattle U s victory at San Jose State and had already scored nine points against Northwest. Sunderhaus underwent surgery on his knee in early January and is expected to be back for the 2015-16 season. CONTRIBUTING IN OTHER WAYS: Senior Emerson Murray has provided senior leadership to the Redhawks this season, contributing to the team in several ways. In Seattle U s 76-67 victory over UC Davis Dec. 30, he played 29 minutes, earning six points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. After collecting three rebounds, four assists, and four steals against UTPA Jan. 15, he earned a spot in the starting lineup, a move that immediately paid dividends as he dished out six assists in each of the Redhawks victories over New Mexico State and Chicago State. On Jan. 31 at Bakersfield, Murray notched his second career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, plus he dished out a career-high seven assists while committing just one turnover. TWO HISTORIC DEFENSIVE EFFORTS: The 31 points allowed by Seattle U Feb. 21 against Chicago State is the lowest point total given up to a Division I opponent in the history of the SU basketball program, eclipsing the previous mark of 33 points scored by Utah Valley just two weeks previous on Feb. 7 at KeyArena. That total had eclipsed the old record low of 36 points scored by Portland State on Dec. 15, 1958, in an 85-36 Seattle U victory. The record for fewest points scored by a Seattle U opponent at any level is 23 scored by Pacific Lutheran Feb. 2, 1946. Chicago State did not score for a stretch of about 16 minutes, spanning the final six minutes of the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second half. In the Utah Valley game, the Wolverines missed all 17 of their three-point field goal attempts, the second-most attempts without a made three-pointer in Division I this season. Texas Tech missed all 21 of its three-point attempts against Loyola Chicago on Dec. 22.

ZEKE-ING KNOWLEDGE: Isiah Umipig has picked up right where he left off last season, as he is currently third in Division I in three-pointers made per game, averaging 3.65 made baskets from long distance per contest. Last season, Umipig became Seattle U s single-season record holder for made three-pointers last season, hitting his 90th of 2013-14 with 1:25 left in the first overtime period Feb. 27 against Chicago State. The previous record was 89 made threepointers, set by Aaron Waite in the 1989-90 season. Umipig finished with 106 made three-pointers, fifth in the country in three-pointers per game (3.53). REACHING A MILESTONE: With a three-pointer with 10:41 remaining in the second half against UMKC Feb. 18, Isiah Umipig became the 36th person in SU men s basketball history to score at least 1,000 points at Seattle U, and the first since Aaron Broussard reached the 1,000-point mark early in the 2011-12 season. HEAD COACH CAMERON DOLLAR (UCLA 97) SIXTH SEASON AT SEATTLE U/SEVENTH SEASON OVERALL 74-101 (.423) AT SEATTLE U/85-123 (.409) OVERALL Cameron Dollar is in his sixth season as head coach at Seattle University. In 2013-14, Dollar s Redhawks posted a five-game improvement from the previous season and contended with eventual WAC Tournament champion New Mexico State right down to the final buzzer in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament. Thanks to a season sweep over Cal State Fullerton as well as victories over UC Davis, Cal State Northridge, and Norfolk State, Seattle U jumped out to an 8-3 record, led by Second Team All-WAC performer Isiah Umipig. Though Dollar led the team through a tough first season in the WAC during the 2012-2013 season, several key returning players showed improvement under his coaching. Dollar took a squad of several newcomers through the 2011-12 season, competing with powerhouse programs such as Virginia and Washington. The team got rolling midway through the season, winning nine of its last 12 contests, including eight in a row at KeyArena. Thanks in part to Dollar s coaching, Aaron Broussard established himself as one of the best players in program history, finishing his career 13th on the school s all-time scoring list. Seattle U picked up 11 victories during the 2010-11 season, including the team s second straight victory over Oregon State and a road victory at ACC school Virginia. The Redhawks also played a tight game at Pac-10 school Stanford and put up its best performance against Washington since starting the reclassification process in front of over 11,000 fans at KeyArena. Using an up-tempo style with aggressive defense, Dollar led Seattle U to a 17-14 record in 2009-10, making the Redhawks the first team to post a winning record playing a full Division I schedule in its first year as a Division I counter. The team started to gain national recognition after a 77-74 victory at Utah, and then made history later in the year with a 99-48 win at Oregon State, the worst home loss ever for the Beavers. Dollar and his squad also defended Elgin Baylor Court at KeyArena during its first year of existance, finishing with a 10-3 record at home, including exciting victories over Fresno State, Weber State, and UC Irvine. He served seven years as an asssistant coach at the University of Washington before coming to Seattle U. As the top assistant for Lorenzo Romar at Washington, he helped the Huskies win their first Pac-10 outright regular season championship since 1953 in the 2008-09 season. Washington advanced to the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament and to the second round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament. In 2006, Dollar helped guide Washington to a 26-7 record. The Huskies made back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances for the first time ever. He was pivotal in the Huskies run to their first Pac-10 Tournament championship in 2005 and first ever No. 1 seed into the NCAA Tournament. UW finished with a 29-6 record, tying the school record for wins in a season. In 2004, the Huskies advanced to the championship game of the Pac-10 Tournament and competed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1999. Prior to his arrival at UW, Dollar served three years as an assistant coach on Romar s Saint Louis University staff. He helped the Billikens to a three-year record of 51-44 (.537), including a 2000 Conference USA Tournament championship that secured the league s automatic NCAA berth. Dollar began his coaching career as an assistant on the staff of head coach Pat Douglass at UC Irvine in 1997. He became the nation s youngest head coach in 1998 when, at age 22, he took the reins of the Southern California College program in Costa Mesa, Calif. The Vanguards, who returned just six players from the previous season, posted an 11-22 record in Dollar s only season, but recorded wins over NAIA Top 25 teams Westmont and Azusa Pacific. After a three-month stay as a part-time assistant at the University of Georgia in 1999, Dollar left to join the Saint Louis coaching staff on a full-time basis. As a player, Dollar lettered four seasons at UCLA before graduating in 1997. He has chosen to remain in Seattle, the site of the Bruins 1995 NCAA Championship victory. UCLA defeated Arkansas 89-78 at the Kingdome. A four-year letterman at UCLA from 1994-97, Dollar achieved national recognition in 1995 as a pivotal player in UCLA s NCAA championship season when he took over for injured starter Tyus Edney in the title game. In Dollar s final three collegiate seasons, the Bruins won the NCAA title and reached the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Dollar averaged 5.0 points and 3.7 assists per game during his four-year career. Cameron and his wife, Maureen, live in Seattle. They have three children: Jalen (born April 26, 2005), Giselle (born Feb. 12, 2007), and Jason (born Dec. 23, 2008).
