MAKEUP TIPS: For younger dancers, shimmer eyeshadow, blush and lipgloss/lipstick to give them some color under the bright lights For dancers ages 8 and older (see 3 steps below) Step 1. Eyes Apply light eye shadow to the dancer's eye lid and under brow (brow bone). Use a darker color of choice in the crease of the eyelid, extending beyond the natural line of the eye in an upward motion toward the temple. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE ONLY. PURPLE IS NOT REQUIRED. Apply mascara for the eyelashes. Step 2. Blush
Pink or peachy color. Start under the cheekbone, from the bottom of the nose and sweep in an upward motion with the blush brush to the hair line. Blend in with your hand to ensure there are no streaks or red circles. Step 3. Lips Apply a lip stick/lip gloss of dark pink or light red to the lips.
