Dodson pleaded guilty to a charge under AR80E(1) in that on the morning of Wednesday 26 August 2015 he did have on his registered stable premises a product that was not labelled or registered in compliance with the relevant State and Commonwealth legislation. Mr Dodson was fined $500. RACE 1: Benchmark 60 Handicap 1215m: Chalcedony Overraced between the 1000m and 800m. Laid out under pressure over the final 150m. Colony Eased when tightened for room passing the 1000m. Hard Marker Momentarily tightened for room approaching the 100m. Harvard Graduate Overraced approaching and rounding the first turn. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Law of the Jungle Began awkwardly. Source of Harmony Inclined to pull in the middle stages. RACE 2: Maiden Plate 810m: Astro Flyer Hampered near the 700m. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormality. Banknote Beau Bumped and unbalanced approaching the 600m. Free Standing Slow to begin and bumped shortly after. Overraced in the middle stages. Rounding the home turn became held up on heels and was unable to be tested until near the 350m. Not tested over the final 70m after improving onto heels. Ichi Ni Slow to begin and bumped shortly after. Bumped and unbalanced approaching the 600m. Overraced fiercely when the pace slackened between the 600m and 450m. Unable to be fully tested from the entrance to the straight to near the 300m when racing in restricted room. 1
Miss Bonnie Overraced fiercely when the pace slackened between the 600m and 450m. Miss Rabble Raced wide throughout the early and middle stages. When questioned regarding the improved performance of the mare trainer Mr E. Yabsley stated that the mares best form has been on dry surfaces and this preparation, outside its most recent start, all starts have been on rain affected going. Mr Yabsley added that he did not believe the mare appreciated the quick back up at its most recent start. Mr Yabsley added that in his opinion the mare appreciated racing on a large circuit with ample galloping room today. Our Girl Shyanne Declared a late scratching by order of stewards, acting on veterinary advice, at 1.35pm after the mare sustained a laceration and swelling to its near knee en route to the racecourse. Stewards ordered that all wagers on the gelding be refunded and that all successful wagers placed with bookmakers prior to 1.35pm be subject to the following deductions in the dollar on the face value of the ticket, 0 cents the win and 2 cents the place for 1 st (Miss Rabble), 2 cents the place for 2 nd (Stop Short) and 2 cents the place for 3 rd (Ichi Ni). Trainer Mr D. Jackson was advised that the mare requires a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to its next race start. Solitaire s Vision Slow to begin. Stop Short Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the early and middle stages. RACE 3: Maiden Handicap 1315m: Faith And Fury Slow to begin. Hampered near the 150m. Grand Frenzy Unable to be fully tested when held up on heels approaching and passing the 200m. I Know So (NZ) Laid out under pressure over the final 250m. Kakakenny Buffeted on jumping. Our First One Began awkwardly. Approaching the first turn was steadied from the heels of I Know So (NZ) which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Apprentice J. Graham (I Know So (NZ)) was issued a reprimand (AR137(a)). Laid out rounding the first turn and was steadied when awkwardly placed on heels. Samapure Bumped and unbalanced on jumping. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Scoboo Inclined to pull in the middle stages. Valinga Rounding the home turn became held up on heels and was unable to be fully tested until obtaining clear running approaching the 200m. Xian s Pride Bumped on jumping. Yambaah Prince Slow to begin. Overraced approaching the first turn. Near the 900m was steadied after it laid in and became awkwardly placed on heels. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. RACE 4: Maiden Plate 1515m: Awesome One Slow to begin. Shortly after straightening was steadied when awkwardly placed on heels and shortly after was bumped inwards heavily. Unable to be tested over the final 100m when held up on heels. Doublecross Dancer Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Hampered near the 300m. Free Willy Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Guided Slow to begin. Approaching the 1000m shifted out abruptly when awkwardly placed on heels. Raced wide in the middle stages. Jemily Inclined to overrace in the early stages. Unable to improve approaching the home turn when held up on the heels of a weakening runner. Moonlight Jewel Steadied when disappointed for a run at the entrance to the straight. Put em On Ice Slow to begin and hampered shortly after. Overraced approaching and passing the 1000m. White Goddess Bumped inwards near the 300m. RACE 5: Class 2 Handicap 1415m: Clemmensen Slow to begin. Corey Inclined to overrace in the middle stages. Laid out under pressure between the 400m and 200m. Ensign Near the 1200m, whilst inclined to pull, was steadied when tightened for room by Don Caballo. Jockey M. Bennett (Don Caballo) was asked to exercise more care when shifting ground. Overraced from this point to passing the 1000m. Gods Gift to Women Near the 800m was steadied and shifted out abruptly after improving onto heels. Raced wide in the middle stages. Hampered approaching the 200m. RACE 6: Benchmark 54 Handicap 1615m: Castlemagne King Raced wide throughout the early and middle stages. Laid in under pressure at the entrance to the straight. Fiamma (NZ) - A post race veterinary examination of the mare did not reveal any abnormality. 3
Hundrez n Thousanz Slow to begin. Nonino Inclined to overrace in the early stages. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormality. Savage Drop Slow to begin. Star Fest Inclined to overrace in the early and middle stages. RACE 7: Benchmark 55 Handicap 1012m: Aimalac Bobby At the entrance to the straight was obliged to ease and shift in around heels to obtain clear running. Approaching and passing the 300m was unable to be tested when awkwardly placed on heels. Jockey Ms B. Hodder (Dos Santos) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, under AR137(a), in that near the 200m she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of My Boy Louie which was carried in onto the running of Aimalac Bobby which was checked. Ms Hodder s license to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence on 7 November 2015 and to expire on 17 November 2015, on which day she may ride. Blundered during the incident. Daiquiri Belle Eased after improving onto heels passing the 500m. Raced in restricted room between the 200m and 100m. Dos Santos Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Emperor of Rome At the entrance to the straight was eased after it laid out and became awkwardly placed on heels. Between the 200m and 100m was unable to be fully tested when racing in restricted room. My Boy Louie Carried inwards approaching and passing the 200m. Pomme Petite - Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Spinmeister Began awkwardly. Rounding the home turn became held up on heels and was unable to be tested until shifting out and obtaining clear running passing the 200m. Approaching the 50m rider was obliged to desist from riding the gelding along when racing in restricted room. Wild Blue Yonder Hampered near the 900m. At the entrance to the straight became held up on heels and was unable to be fully tested until shifting out into clear running approaching the 200m. RACE 8: Class 1 Handicap 1012m: Locomotive Breath Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Miss Zinzin At the entrance to the straight became held up on heels and near the 350m bumped heavily with another runner whilst shifting out into clear running. Approaching the 200m was steadied and raced greenly when 4
momentarily tightened for room. A post race veterinary examination of the filly did not reveal any abnormality. My Moochie Bumped and unbalanced near the 350m. Polar Shift Began very awkwardly and lost ground (~10L). When questioned, trainer Mr N. Want stated that he felt the gelding may have resented the tongue tie which was added to its gear today. Mr Want was advised that the gelding is required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its next race start. Za I m Youthful At the entrance to the straight became held up on heels and was unable to be fully tested until passing the 200m. Zizumba Slow to begin and into stride (4L). Trainer Mr T. Green was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding. In assessing what action to take against the gelding the stewards appreciated that the official starter failed to apply a barrier extension, which is part of the geldings approved gear, to the hind gates of its barrier.
