1. General information The Development Seminar targets all tournament coaches, trainers and, more generally, people involved in tournament skiing wishing to improve their knowledge. Cable ski coaches and trainers are welcome as there is a good crossover of skills and techniques. This Seminar is geared towards beginner and intermediate coaching up to an early international level. The coaches seminar will be run 11 th / 12 th May 2013 in English. In the same time, there will be a tournament judges seminar aimed at developing people as judges. The seminar will cover the rules and the judge s role over the 3 events (slalom, trick and jump) with the aim to run and judge competitions up to International Level. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for an Asian International Judge Qualification exam on Monday 13 th May 2013. * Please note that there will be two different seminars run simultaneously and it will not be possible to attend both 2. Travel and accommodation information 4.1. Travel All seminar participants should make their own arrangements to arrive in Tokyo. Formalities A passport valid for at least six months from date or arrival, plus proof (tickets) onward or return passage. 4.2. 4.6. Payment and currency Currency is Japanese yen. Many restaurants and the Official Hotel accept major credit cards. 5. Certificates 5.1. Coaching Development Seminar All coaches participating in the coaches development seminar will receive a certificate of attendance from the IWWF if they are present for all the sessions. 5.2. Judge Development Seminar All officials participating in the judge development seminar will receive a certificate of attendance from the Asian Waterski & Wakeboard Confederation if they are present for all the sessions. A diploma will be delivered to people having succeeded the Asian Confederation s international judge qualification on Monday 13 th May 2013 6. Registration Forms All participants should send the Entry Registration form for either Seminar attendance to the Japan Waterski Association by 30 th of April. 6. Things to Bring & Know Judges Development participant would benefit from reading the IWWF rules prior to attending and bring a copy with them.
