Section 6. Accidental Release Measures Personal Precautions: Isolate spill and put signs up in area. Keep heat and ignition sources away. Use the Personal Protection Equipment as indicated in Section 8 to avoid contact with product. Environmental Precautions: Prevent product from reaching soil and streams. Inform the appropriate authorities if the product reaches draining systems or streams or contaminates the soil or vegetation. Method for Clean-Up: Contain spill with inert material. Eliminate ignition sources. Transfer to proper container. Capture remnants with earth, sand, or inert materials. Wash the site with water, which should also be collected for disposal. Section 7.
