Rules & Regulations
General Rules 1. The tournament will be organized and managed by Frontfoot Sports Management Pvt. Ltd.. 2. Every participant should be a bonafide employee of their organization. 3. The Entry Form should be complete in every respect when sent to the Frontfoot Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. (Incomplete Form can lead to the disqualification of the team). 4. The players have to carry their playing equipments e.g. rackets whereas balls & other necessary things will be provided by the Organizers. 5. The players should be in proper sports wear (of their own) i.e. tshirts, lowers / shorts & Sports Shoes. 6. The Tournament Committee comprises of the following: 1. Officiating Umpires of the tournament 2. Organizing Committee of Frontfoot Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. 7. All the matches will be officiated by eminent umpires. 8. Every participant has to bring their Identity card on the day of match. 9. All the teams should report 30 minutes before the start of match. 10. In case a team reports later than 15 minutes from the scheduled time, walkover will be given to the other team. 11. The Rules and the order of play may be varied from time to time should the Tournament Committee at its discretion deem it desirable or necessary. The Tournament Committee's decisions shall be final. 12. The Referee s decision will be final and no protest will be entertained on their decision. 2
13. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to add, change or amend any rule regarding the tournament at any point of time. 14. Tournament Committee s decision shall be final and binding on all teams in all circumstances whatsoever. 15. Tournament Committee can insert by-laws and playing conditions at any point of time, which shall be binding on all the participating teams. 16. In case, during the tournament, a team is found to have played outsider(s), the Tournament Committee can take severe action against the team even after the match is over. 17. The officiating umpires during the match have full authority and discretion to handle situations like walkover, other unavoidable circumstances, play abandonment and any dispute. 18. In case match is abandoned due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond control, the match will be played on the other scheduled time frame given by the Tournament committee. 19. The Tournament committee will have the authority to postpone/cancel/amend the schedule of the tournament at any given point of time but with a prior notice to the respective teams. 20. Players who have either represented (in the last one year) or are currently representing the State / National will not be allowed to play in the tournament even if he is an employee of the company. 21. The organizers will not be responsible for loss of any equipment/money/any other belongings. 3
Carrom For the Team Event, all the players should be from the same organization. For the Open Events like Men / Women Doubles & Mixed Doubles, players from different organization can pair up and play. 1. The rules of carrom will be as per the rules stated in All India Carrom Federation. Every player / pair has to play 4 boards till Quarter Final matches and 8 boards for the Finals. 2. A game will be of 25 points. The player who reaches 25 points first will be the winner of the game. 3. Open events like Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles will be played in Knock Out format. 4. Team Event will be played in League cum Knock Out Format. 5. Thumbing is allowed. 6. All the players have to bring their own Strikers for the tournament. 4
Table Tennis For the Team Event, all the players should be from the same organization. For the Open Events like Men / Women Doubles & Mixed Doubles, players from different organization can pair up and play. 1. All the matches will be of 11 Rally Points, best of 5 sets. 2. The Open events will be of knock Out format. 3. The Team event will be played in League cum Knock Out format. 4. The format of every Team event matches will be 2 Singles & 1 Doubles & 2 Reverse Singles. The order of playing will be 1 st Singles, 2 nd Singles, Doubles and 1 st Reverse Singles (if required) & 2 nd Reverse Singles (if required). 5. The tournament will be conducted with Nitakoo / Stag / Stiga 3 Star balls. 5
