EVENT DETAILS The Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon is a prestigious event that has been taking place for over 27 years. The 28th running of the Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, 19 May 2019. Participants will be taken from Hyde Park, through the CBD, Barangaroo, Pyrmont and then loop around to finish at Hyde Park. Participants will also be able to take part in the increasingly popular relay event. The first leg of the relay will run 7km and the second leg of the relay will run the remaining 14km >200k EDM Reach >22k Social Media Friends

BENEFIT DETAILS Charity Superstar Places Charity Superstar places guarantees entries in the event, regardless of the event selling out. Charity Name Listing in Registration System Your charity will be listed within both event registration system as an option for the participant to fundraise for your cause or make a donation. Charity details listed on Half Marathon Charity Superstar page for potential enquirers Your charity will be listed on the Charity Superstar page, giving participants the opportunity to make an enquiry to be part of your Half Marathon fundraising team. Charity Superstar Running Bibs* All runners will receive a special race bib with their first name printed on the front rather than their race number. Charity Superstar places can enter Half Marathon or the Half Marathon relay Your Charity Superstars can choose to enter the distance they would prefer to take part in. Access to bespoke charity console Purchasing a charity superstar package will provide access to our unique charity console, which has been created specifically to easily recruit Charity Superstar fundraisers. We will feature a link to the Enter for Charity on the home page which will focus to Charity Superstars places. This will be featured before general entries open for the event. Inclusion in Announcer Notes On race day, we have announcers at the start and finish lines, communicating key information with our runners over the PA system. You have the opportunity to include your charity s key message through our announcer. Opportunity for ambassador to be a gun starter You will have the opportunity to enter as a charity ambassador to be a gun starter for a wave of the event.
