RING 1: IN-HAND HORSE RING To Start at 9am PROMPT Class 1: Turnout & Condition Open to any horse and pony of any age and handler any age. To be judged solely upon condition and turnout of horse and handler as a whole. Class 2: In-hand Cob Open to horse or pony, gelding, mare, colt or filly. Stallions are allowed, please use a stallion badge. Open to cobs, Hogged and traditional of any size. Class 3: In-hand Hunter type Open to gelding, mare, colt or filly of any age, that is either a lightweight, middleweight or heavyweight hunter type. Class 4: Young stock Open to filly, colt or gelding aged 1, 2 or 3 years of age. Class 5: Mountain & Moorland Open to In-hand Mountain & Moorland (small and large breeds, may split if numbers allow) ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New forest, Shetland, Welsh A,B,C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. Class 6: Ex-race horse / Thoroughbred class Open to thoroughbred and ex-racehorses. Open to thoroughbred horses of any age or height. Class 7: Veteran Open to horses and ponies over the age of 15. Handlers can be any age. Class 8: Little & Large (-NOT TO START BEFORE 1PM-) This class is open to Miniatures under the height of 54 and to heavy and/or draft horses. Rosettes will be awarded to best miniature and best heavy horse within the class. Class 9: Foreign and rare breeds Open to gelding, mare or stallion of any age. Horses that are not native to this country. Rare breeds eligible to be listed on the Critical or Endangered Lists. Class 10: Best young handler Open to horses of any age, height, sex and breed. Handler is not to obtain their 16th Birthday by the 1st of January 2015 Class 11: Handsomest gelding Class 12: Prettiest mare 13. Fancy Dress (this can be ridden or in-hand) 14. Horse judge would most like to take home! IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP All 1 st and 2 nd places from classes 1 to 14 qualify for the IN-HAND CHAMPIONSHIP
RING 2 - RIDDEN HORSE RING (9AM START) Class 15: Ex-race horse/ Thoroughbred Open to thoroughbred and ex-racehorses. Open to thoroughbred geldings or mares, over the age of 4 years old and of any height. To include Piebald, Skewbald, Duns, Cremello, Palomino, Roans, Appaloosa, Spotted or Paint. Class 18: Foreign and Rare breeds Open to gelding, mare or stallion of any age. Horses that are not native to this country. Rare breeds eligible to be listed on the Critical or Endangered Lists. Class 19: Ridden hunter type Open to gelding, mare or stallion over the age of 4, that is either a lightweight, middleweight or heavyweight hunter type. Class 21: Veteran Open to horses and ponies over the age of 15. Lead reins are allowed in this class. Class 22: Novice Ridden Horse and Pony any height. This class is designed for genuine novice riders who have not won in a showing class before. Riders are required to do a small show, where canter is optional. Class 23: Lead rein Pony RIDDEN CHAMP: 1 ST AND 2 ND PLACE FROM CLASSES 15 23 WILL QUALIFY FOR THE RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP & TO RECEIVE THE PRIZES AND TROPHY
RING 3: HOUND RING (11AM START) Class 24: Cutest Puppy Dog under 18 months old Class 25: Prettiest Bitch Class 26: Handsomest dog Class 27: Best YOUNG HANDLER Handlers not to older than 16 Class 28: Best Trick To perform a small trick to the judge Class 29: Best cross breed Class 30: Best Pedigree Class 31: Best Lorry Dog ALL 1 ST AND 2 ND FROM CLASSES 24-31 TO QUALIFY FOR THE BEST IN SHOW CHAMPIONSHIP RING 4 PONY & PUP RING CLEAR ROUND (CR): TO START AT 9AM, Height will be 60cm, unless asked to be changed. Class 32: 60cm Class 33: 70cm Class 34: 80cm Class 35: 90cm Class 36: 1m To start at 10am prompt. All to be jumped as a single phase. Jumps 1 8 to go clear, then 9-12 are to be timed. All 1 st and 2 nd places from classes 32 36 are to qualify for the Show jumping Championship All timed, one phase, jumps 1 8, horses or ponies are required to jump a course of jumps, then riders are to dismount and jump the course alongside their canine companion! Separate course for dogs! Fastest time wins! Not to start before 1.30pm Class 37: Small Horse and Hound (Horses required to jump 60cm max!) Class 38: Med Horse and Hound (Horses required to jump 70cm max!) Class 39: Tall Horse and Hound (Horses required to jump 80cm max!) ALL 1 ST AND 2 ND PLACES FROM CLASSES 37-39 ARE TO QUALIFY FOR THE PONY & PUP CHAMPIONSHIP CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE HELD IN RING 2!
