COACHES AND SPECTATORS, you will purchase your wristbands at the main entrance desk. The admission price will be $5.00 for Friday Night and $8.00 for Saturday. If you wish to purchase a two day pass for both dates, the price will be a reduced rate of $10. ATHLETES will find a registration table in the main hallway. You will pick up your wristbands and BIB numbers at this registration area. Athletes admission price is included in your registration fees. There will be one entrance into the Track Arena and anyone entering must have their wristbands on securely. No one can gain entrance into the track arena without wearing a proper wristband. Coaches are considered to be spectators and will be charged admission! Coaches will not be allowed to use athlete wristbands to gain admission. There will be Event Staff Ushers posted at all other doors denying access to anyone into the track arena. Please do not attempt to enter the building through any of the doors other than the main entrance. The other doors will be alarmed and secure. Please help us get everyone into the facility in an orderly manner. Your cooperation is appreciated. ADDITIONAL ADMISSION NOTES: All coaches, parents, siblings, friends, guardian angels, and patron saints will be charged an admission. HAVING THE CORRECT CHANGE will help to speed up the admissions process. Admission fees go towards the cost of building rental, insurance, awards, officials, and workers. Everyone who pays this admission fee will receive a wristband, which will allow re-entry into the building if you leave. Anyone caught inside the facilities without proper wristband identification will be escorted out and asked to re enter and pay the admission fee. Please understand that if we could put this on for free we would. Athletes are not required to pay admission. Their admission fees are covered through pre registration fees. Athletes will be required to have on at least one personal assigned wristband to enter the arena and compete. THE MITS STATE FINALS MEET HAS BEEN VERY WELL ATTENDED THE PAST FEW YEARS! It is important to note that we cannot control the amount of people who will show up and attend this event. PLEASE NOTE: The actual bleacher seating capacity inside the track arena is approximately 900. The overall track arena capacity is much larger but the additional capacity is standing room. We can confidently guarantee entrance into the arena but we cannot guarantee you an actual seat in the bleachers. No team camps will be allowed in the bleachers inside the track arena. No team camps will be allowed on the infield. Team camps will be allowed in the auxiliary gym directly across the hallway from the track arena. The seating capacity of this gymnasium is 1200. Warm ups will be allowed in this gymnasium and of course warms ups can be done outside on the campus grounds. No warm ups will be allowed on the infield or track during the competition hours. This new building facility at Aquinas has the best seating capacity of any building we have ever used for a MITS State Final Event. It will still be a crowded venue but we believe the overall experience will be a good one. BLEACHER SEATS ARE RESERVED FOR SPECTATORS. USHERS WILL MONITOR THIS. RESTROOM FACILITES! There are plenty of restroom facilities at this venue. Restrooms are located in the main hallway and in the track arena on the main floor. Please treat these facilities respectfully.

WRIST BANDS Athletes performing in individual events will receive a specific color of wristband. If that same athlete is performing in relay events, that athlete will receive a specific color wristband for each and every relay they perform in. Each relay will have a different colored wristband. If an athlete is performing in one individual event and three relays, they will get four different color wristbands. Each athlete involved in a relay event will be checked by the clerks for their wristbands for that particular relay. If an individual is in multiple individual events, they will only receive the one color wristband that denotes them as an individual athlete. No adults will be allowed admission using an athlete s wristband. This includes coaches. THINK AHEAD.If you are picking up wristbands for other people How will you get them to them? Note: In addition to wrist bands, all athletes will be issued bib numbers. These bib numbers will be given out when the athlete picks up their wristbands in the hallway at the front door. Athletes will be required to have both bib numbers and wristbands on when they compete. CLERKING AREA: The clerking area will be located at the far end of the track near the start of the 60 Dash and Long Jump pit. TEAM CAMPS: Athletes will have access to the gymnasium across the hallway from the Track Arena. This facility will give athletes a place to stretch, relax, and enjoy their AQUINAS / MITS experience. Coaches will have access to this area. Parents will also have access to this area. No Team Camps will be allowed in the bleachers or on the infield within the track arena! BLEACHER SEATING IS RESERVED FOR SPECTATORS! ACCESS TO THE INFIELD: There will be access for COACHES and athletes that are about to compete. The infield will not be a place to just hang out or congregate. We simply cannot let everyone go where they want to go and have things remained organized. Please understand this. There will be Marshalls and Ushers on the infield enforcing certain restrictions. We will do the best we can to accommodate you but remember that what you want might not be in the best interests of the overall production. We are encouraging spectators to sit in the bleachers. POLE VAULTERS: Vaulters will need to bring their poles through the athlete entrance. Please be careful. OUTDOOR WARM UPS Outdoor warm ups will be allowed and are encouraged. Please exit only through the front doors so you do not set off alarms on other exterior doors Athletes must have their wristbands on in order to regain entry to the track arena. Athletes must re-enter the building only through the main entrance. WRISTBAND PICK UP / WARM UPS / EVENTS ON FRIDAY EVENING: The Fieldhouse will open at 4:30 pm. Athletes can pick up wristbands at this time or on Saturday. Athletes with proper wristband identification will be able to practice in the track arena until events begin. If Coaches, Parents, or Spectators want to be in the main arena on Friday night, they will have to purchase a wristband from one of the options listed above. Warm ups / Practice will be permitted on the Pole Vault runway on Friday Evening from 4:30 7:30 pm Pole Vaulters can leave their poles in the building overnight if they choose. They will be safe and secure. Neither MITS or AQUINAS will be responsible for them however.
