43 Lions and 5 guests were present when President Stew Skinner opened our mee\ng at 6:00 PM. President Stew led us in singing America and reci\ng the Pledge of Allegiance. OUR GUESTS: Lion Herb Zickafoos brought wife Naomi Lion Joy Cox s guests were Debbie and Rick Kellough and Janet Page Lion Homer Notestone brought Claudia Weiderman OUR MEAL: Rib eye steak, baked potato, tossed salad, mixed veggies, roll, and pie for dessert.

OUR COOKS: Lions George Davis, Sam Creech, Arlan Cox, Neal Senff, Jerry Powers, Bill Derringer, Melinda Stephens, Mike and Dee Hathaway, Susan Pon\us, Fred Hempstead and Bret Sharp. KP: We saw Lions George Davis, Jerry Powers and Bret Sharp policing the kitchen. NEXT WEEK'S MEAL: Baked Steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggie, rolls, salad and surprise desserts. Next week is our Valen\ne's Day Party-Bring your swee\e! If you did not sign up tonight and plan to aiend, email Lion Dee Hathaway at deemike1@roadrunner.com CONCERNS: Lion Arlan's grandson will be having further tes\ng at Children's Hospital this week. Lion Dick Tuile should be back home Thursday. Lion Jerry Powers reported that his grand nephew had his s\tches out today. Lion Brian Barber of the Frankfort club was in the hospital today. Lions Gary Warner, Dave White, Tom Gus\n, and Jim Hawkins need our prayers. GOOD NEWS: We have great weather for this \me of the year. Lion Susan Pon\us said we collected 21 pints at our blood drive last Wednesday. Susan thanked all those who worked at the blood drive or donated. President Stew thanked her for her work and leadership on this project. PRAYER: Lion Gene Oliver did his usual exemplary job.

MAIL CALL: President Stew received a leier from Kamp Dovetail thanking us for our recent dona\on. We received a request for dona\on from March of Dimes. This will be considered at our next BOD mee\ng. Adena Mansions and Gardens thanked us for our dona\on. Pilot Dogs thanked us for our dona\on. CALENDAR: February 8-Cook for the youth group. February 12 - Habitat for Humanity's Chocolate Fantasy. Noon to 3 PM at St. Mary's Family Life Center. Tickets are $6.00, available at the door. February 14-Valen\ne's Day Party. February 15-Serve meals at the VA Na\onal Salute to Veterans Pa\ent Week. February 20- Flags. We need all the help we can get as several members that normally work on this project will be out of town. February 25-We host the cabinet mee\ng. March 26 -Pilot Dogs will dedicate their new kennel facility. March 29 -Cook for the youth group.

April 3- Blood Drive. STUFFED ANIMALS: Bring in your new stuffed animals. SECRETARY'S REPORT: Lion Joy Cox said: The Lions Commemora\ve Silver dollar is now on sale. Don't forget to sign up for the District, State, and Interna\onal Conven\ons. Appropriate folders are on Lion Joy's desk. Lion Joy has a club visita\on planned for next Monday. Our club will visit Beavercreek Lions Club. Dinner is at 6:15 followed by a mee\ng. Interested members should contact Lion Joy. VALENTINES DAY PARTY: Next Tuesday. Email Lion Dee if you plan to aiend and tell her if you will be bringing your swee\e. Head count needed to ensure we have enough food.

BADGES: Last year several of our members bought new badges. Lion Dee Hathaway is taking orders. If you would like one the pin type badge is $9.95 and the magnet version is $11.95. TREASURER'S REPORT: Lion Myra Brown said she had nothing to report but then she did. The Ohio Lions Blind Band received our check for $1000. SONG: Lion Neal led us in singing Take It To The Limit. PROGRAM: Lion Neal showed us pictures of his vaca\on to Russia, Germany, and Switzerland. Thanks Neal for an interes\ng program.

[endif]tailtwister: Lion Bret Sharp fined Herb Zickafoos and Lion Herb gave him 25 cents. Lion Bret fined Neal Senff $5.00 for an error in last week's Tale. When Lion Neal pointed out that he wrote the notes but they were edited by Lion Mike Hathaway, he fined Mike $5.00. Lion Bret also fined Lion and brother Joe Sharp $5.00 because he fined Lion Bret $5.00 last week for being absent. Total $15.25. DRAWINGS: Hat: Lion Joy Cox won, but she asked that we draw again and the winner was Lion Judy Hempstead. Weekly: Lion Bret Sharp. Lion Neal was quick to point out that Lion Roger Geise (last week's winner) donated his winnings to the Tail Twister's fines.

50-50: Lion Cindy Powell won $21.00. Joker: Lion Roger Kutscher reported 33 cards in the deck and a pot of an even $334.00. Lion Bill Brown had the lucky \cket-again! Once again, however, not the lucky joker. Bill's consola\on prize was a back scratcher. BOD: The board of directors approved the membership applica\ons for Heather Murphy and Ryan Gumm following our regular mee\ng. Lion Dee Hathaway is their sponsor.
