Competitors may send pictures for publicity and marketing purposes in advance to the organizer by email, to the address: veneurheilijat@gmail.com Jury members must present a signed NA Authorization form at the Race office upon arrival. 6. INSURANCE UIM rule 205.09. Insurance certificates for personal injury and against third party claims must be presented upon arrival of the driver, either in Finnish or in English. Insurance against third party claims is available at the race office (price 90 ). Foreign drivers from other EU or ETA countries must have a European Health Insurance Card, EHIC. 7. TRANSPORTATION No transportation has been organized. The organizers will not allocate any compensation regarding transportation. 8. PIT AREA AND RACE OFFICE The pit area and the race office will be open from Friday 6 th July, at 3 pm, until to the prize giving ceremony. Pit area will be closed by nights, see preliminary time schedule. Organizer will point a place to the teams. Every team is recommended to have a tent with minimum dimensions of 3x3 meters. The pit area is open for guests and visitors. The pit area is located inside the boat yard hall. Every boat must use an absorbent carpet (UIM 703) on the pit area. Every boat must have at least a 2 kg fire extinguisher placed on the left side of the tent s exit. Every team will get one fire alarm for the tent from the race office. The Parc Ferme will be located in the pit area. Smoking, open fire and alcohol are prohibited in the pit area. After the race, everyone must clean their own space in the pit area. All team members and drivers are recommended to wear appropriate, recognizable and concordant team clothing on the whole area and in all official events from Friday to Sunday. Every team is responsible for their guests during the event.
9. RULES The race is to be held under the rules of UIM, NA and special race regulations given by the organizer. Ages of the drivers, UIM rule 203.041 Noise reductions, UIM rule 504. SJ10: The race is to be held under the rules of UIM, regulations from NA and special race regulations given by the organizer. 10. BUOY FEE Repair fee 200 / damaged buoy. The fee must be paid before next event or after the final race/heat to the Race Office. 11. PUBLICITY ON THE BOATS The Organizer reserves the right to fix two sponsor stickers, size 10x30 cm, to all boats. RaceWKND! will delivery racing number stickers for every boat. The advertising of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages over 22%, is prohibited by law in Finland. 12. FUEL By UIM rule 508.02. refueling is forbidden at the launching and starting jetty. Receipt of the fuel 95 or 98 octane must be presented to the inspector. Fuel must be bought from: Ritoil Risto Rämä Oy Jylpyntie 39, 48230 KOTKA 5 liter fuel jugs are prohibited at pit area. Other sizes have a storage outside of pit area. Fuelling is only allowed at the official fuelling area. 13. TIME SCHEDULE See attachment 2: Preliminary Time Schedule. 14. DRIVERS BRIEFING The drivers briefings will be held nearby the pit area. The driver as well as the team manager and radio person (F4) must be present all drivers briefings. All radio personnel must be able to speak English. 15. LAUNCHING All boats will be launched in water by crane or slipway. 16. PRACTICE Practicing is allowed only at times allocated in the schedule. Only inspected and cleared boats can gain entry to the practice. A maximum of 16 boats are allowed on the race course at the same time.
17. QUALIFICATION Time trial: last 15 min of training. F4 Qualifying by the rules. 18. STARTING PROCEDURE Dead engine start from a jetty alongside the race course as per UIM rule 307. Starting positions for 1 st heat will be determined by time trial. 19. RACE COURSE, RACE The race course is in attachment 1. Maximum number of boats on the race course is 16. Three best of four heats in SJ10, GT15, GT30 and F250 will be calculated to the results. F4 GP 18 laps. Number of laps and length of race course: SJ10 8 laps 850 m GT15 10 laps 850 m GT30 10 laps 1500 m F250 8 laps 1550 m F4 18 laps 1500 m 20. INSPECTIONS By the rules of UIM. 21. PROTESTS Protest fee is 80 euros, refunded if the protest is approved. The deadline for filing a protest is 30 min after posting results. 22. PRIZE CEREMONY AND AWARDS Best three drivers will be awarded (prizes). SJ10 all drivers will be awarded. F4: The Award ceremony will take place on Saturday immediately after the 1 st race. The Prize giving ceremony will be held after the 2 nd Race. The winner will be the driver who has collected the most points during the two day s event. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed. 23. ACCOMMODATION Free parking area for 1 caravan/team nearby the pit area. Limited electricity available.
