It is mandatory. If your player does not have an existing BWF ID number, you have to make a request to BWF with all necessary information well before our closing date! DRAW SIZE : U19 MS = 64, WS = 64, MD = 32, WD = 32, XD = 48 LIMITATION : For U19, the maximum amount of competitors (players/pairs) accepted in the tournament is 64 in the singles events, 32 in the doubles and 48 in the mixed doubles. In accordance with reg. 2.3 in the Junior Circuit Regulations, the minimum amount of competitors must be 8. In case entry fees have not been received before the event, the player(s) will not be allowed to play in the tournament. Payment must be done before their first scheduled match; otherwise they will not be allowed to play. This rule will be enforced no exceptions and the National Association will be liable for the entry fees. Organisers are allowed to refuse entries if players have outstanding fees from a previous year. After the draw has been made, no refunds on the entry fees! SEEDING AND DRAW : Seeding and draw will be carried out by Badminton Europe on 15th of September 2017 CLOTHING REGULATION : Please refer to the clothing regulations (GRC 19-23) VISA : After enterring a player(s) in the tournaments it si the Member Association s responsability to secure visas for their players, if this is needed. Member Association s must make sure that visa applications are made early enough INSURANCE : The organizer declines responsibility and covering of costs for possible injuries or other damages. COMPETITION COURTS : U19 will be played on 5 courts «Swiss Open» mats SHUTLLES : Yonex AS 50 PRIZES : Cups/pratical prizes for the winner & finalist in each event MEDICAL SERVICE : A physiotherapist service is present during the tournament DRUG TESTING : Drug testing may be carried out on a random basis at any time TRAVEL OFFICIAL POINT OF ARRIVAL : Train station Saint-Louis or EuroAirport Bâle-Mulhouse TRANSPORT : Transfer between Saint-Louis train station or Airport Bâle-Mulhouse and the hall can be arranged upon request addressed to the organizer. To use de shuttel bus from the 3 Borders International Junior you must send the transport reservation form available on the official website www.3bij.fr TRAVEL INFORMATION : Transfer from Saint-Louis train station or Airport Bâle-Mulhouse and tho hotels will only be provided to players and officials who book their accommadation through the 3 Borders International Junior office. AIRPORT : The nearest airport is Bâle-Mulhouse EuroAirport which is at 7 mn from the hall TRAIN : The train station Saint-Louis are 5 mn from the hall OFFICIAL HOTELS 1 HOTEL SITUATION : We have selected 4 official hotels for which we will provide shuttle service between the hotel and the Sportenum sport hall. Rooms will be distributed according to your demands, but on a first come first served basis. HÔTEL IBIS : The hotel Ibis is 4 minutes from the hall in Saint-Louis. The hotel has comfortable rooms with air-cooling system, free Wi-Fi, pay parking and a restaurant inside. Attention we have a special prize for the tournament but only friday, saturday and sonday and only 25 rooms. The rooms are all studios with 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen. Attention only 21 rooms are available. OFFICIAL HOTELS 2 HÔTEL BALLADIN : The hotel is near the Airport in Bartenheim, 8 minutes from the hall. Attention only 30 rooms. All requests and bookings must be made through our travel / accommodation form online on the website from the tournament Twin bed room at the rate of 51 per room and per night, 6 for the breakfast per person HÔTEL FORMULE 1 : It s an economy hotel neer the Airport in Saint-Louis, 6 minutes from the hall. Attention only 23 rooms. All requests and bookings must be made through our travel / accommodation form online on the website from the tournament Twin bed room at the rate of 42 per room and per night, 3,5 for the breakfast per person CONDITIONS ACCOMODATIONS REFUND : After the draw has been made, no refunds on the accommodation! PREPAYMENT : Your reservations will be confirmed at the reception of your deposit of at least 50% of the total accommodation invoice and must be paid before September 10, 2017, reservations will be cancelled and players will be responsible for booking their own accommodation at a higher rate and arrangement. TERM OF CANCELLATION : 10% cancellation fees until August 29th, 2017 50% cancellation fees from August 30th until September 10th, 2017 If the reserved rooms are not made use of and the hotel is not able to sell them elsewhere, the customer will have to pay the room rate for one night plus 10% for organization purpose. A room / bed is said not to have been used, when the guest has not checked in by 18:00 h at the latest on the announced day of arrival, except when later arrival has been notified in advance. EARLY DEPARTURE : There will be no refund on accommodation when leaving earlier than announced! TRAVEL/HOTEL FORM : You must register all the information online on the tournament website. Pickup transportation cannot be arranged for your team without this information. It is important that you supply us with your arrival and departure information as soon as possible! MEALS MEALS : : A catering service will be in place at the Sportenum which will offer a choice of warm and cold sport meals as well as snacks and beverages during the entire day at a decent price. A full list will be accessible at our web site before the event. The catering service will start on Thursday 28th /September. until Sunday 1st /October. midday. PAYEMENT METHOD AT THE CATERING SERVICE ALL CONSOMMATION : All players and coaches will receive an ID at their arrival which will also serve as payment card for all food and beverage taken at the catering service. This card has to be preloaded in euros before usage. Not used credit will be refunded in cash only at the end of the tournament. It is possible to order preloaded cards with a defined amount (e.g. 20 euros) for each member of your team with the travel/hotel form. The payment has to be made before the first use of the cards. DINNER : Friday 29th and Saturday 30th dinners will be organized in a room next to the Sportenum at a price of 13 Euros / person /day. You must reserve the dinners with the travel-/hotel form before the September 10th. On this date you must have payed 50 % of the dinner fees. Be aware that in Saint-Louis the restaurants are closed after 21h30. INVOICING : The invoice must be paid at the tournament before the first scheduled match, failure to do so means that you will not be allowed to play. 4
GENERAL INFORMATION VISA : All participants needing a visa should request for the letter of participation, providing us with full name, date of birth, passport number, date of issue, place of issue and date of expiry for all players and officials latest per August 27th, 2015. We cannot issue any supporting letter after this date! Visa request : contact3bij@v3f.fr After entering player(s) in the tournament, it is the Member Association s responsibility to organize visas for their players if this is needed. It is the Member Association s responsibility to make sure that visa applications are made early enough. The Tournament Organisers will do everything possible to enable the entered players to get a visa. INSURANCE : Any special medical treatment necessary or hospitalization due to serious illness or injury is at the players or officials own expense.
