If you would like a sibling to attend any of the celebrations, please send in a note and the children will be escorted to the event. Blessed news! Mrs. Jewell, our second grade teacher, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emma Mary on June 8 th. May God bless the Jewell family! We bid farewell to Mrs. Cedrone at the end of this school year. Mrs. Cedrone has been a wonderful part of our Junior High staff, teaching grades 5-8 Social Studies. We wish Mrs. Cedrone much happiness in all her future endeavors. The TerraNova test results have not come in yet. I have included a copy of a letter, in this packet, sent from the Office of Catholic Schools concerning this. Please join us for our Year s End Liturgy on Tuesday, June 20 th. at 8:30 a.m. There is no school Liturgy tomorrow morning. The last day of After-Care in Friday, June 16 th. Dear Parents, This is the time of year when most of us are preparing for the end of the school year: planning vacations, previewing summer assignments and reading lists, and ensuring the children are prepared for their exams. During this busy time of year you may not have noticed that our schools have not received our annual standardized testing results, the TerraNova. We are not alone. The parent company of the publisher, Data Recognition Corp., has experienced major delays in delivering results to all of our Catholic schools in New Jersey. This delay is due to the company s need to change platforms for reporting results. This is a one-time migration that will not impact our testing in the future. We have been advised to expect a mid to late June delivery date. Each principal has been informed and will disseminate the information to you once received, most likely via mail. SCRIP NEWS This Friday June 16 you may pick up any order placed on Sunday night. Any order placed after that, the summer schedule will apply. (See below) SUMMER BREAK During our summer break you may continue to order gift cards. The procedures are as follow: - Orders will only be done through Presto Pay. There will be no checks or cash accepted during pick up. - There will be no paper orders during summer break. Only online orders will be accepted. - Orders must be placed by Sunday evening and they will be ready for pick up on the following Friday. - The orders can be picked up at the school or Parish center. Send an email (stmarysscrippompton@gmail.com) to specify where you will pick up your order. - All order totals have to exceed $500 before it is submitted. If $500 is not met, the order will be combined with the orders of the following week. - On July 1 st, begins the Rebate accumulation for school year 2017-2018. - Don t forget, E-gift card order can be placed anytime for immediate use, but you must be signed up with Presto Pay. - Land s End has e-gift cards and the rebate is 16%. Placing a $300 gift card order will amount to a $48 rebate!
