Treasurer: John Reardon BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Judy Roy Bob Malone Jeff Arcuri Patti Schneider Welcome to Summer 2016 The Board of Directors of the Priscilla Beach Association is pleased to present the 2016 Summer Social Calendar, thanks to the coordination effort of Patti Schneider. The Summer Calendar this year has less graphics; hopefully that makes it easier to read. Each week has been color coded with low tides added on the bottom color band of each day PBA Meetings: o The ing Meeting is scheduled for July 2 nd, starting at 9 AM with beach clean-up following immediately after the meeting o The Closing Meeting is scheduled for September 3 rd, starting at 9 AM. Bonfire will be held on July 3 rd, followed by Beach Clean-up on July 4 th starting at 8AM. Volunteers are needed for the clean-up. HeartSaver, a class in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a first for PBA, will be offered on July 5 th. o Classes for July 5 th are full. There will be a morning (9AM-12Noon) class and an evening (6PM 9PM) class. The class will consist of CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, and EpiPen administration (if I can find some trainers). o If you are interested in attending a class contact: gcurcio@usa.net with subject line: CPR and an additional class will be offered. o There will be a minor charge for the class ($10) that will cover photocopying of materials, hand-outs. clean-up of the manikins and the facility, and HeartSaver certification cards. Sand Castle contest has been moved to July 9 th in anticipation of increasing participation, since this is the busiest vacation week for Priscilla Beach. Time of the contest coincides with low tides; sign up is 10AM. Be creative and join in the fun! Bring your wallet; Paris Lavoie will be offering snow cones with all proceeds donated to the PBA. THANK YOU PARIS!!!

Summer 2016 continued Due to their popularity, both Painting Night and Comedy Night have returned. BYOB. o Painting Night originally scheduled for July 11 th has been changed to July 25 th. Contact Judy Roy if you wish to participate: val58@aol.com. Doors open at 6:30PM for setup so come early; painting will start at 7PM. Cost is $25 per person o Comedy Night is scheduled for July 23 rd starting with Cocktails at 8PM. Four comediennes will perform: Host Joe Finn, Craig Murphy, Christine Hurley and Lenny Clarke. Cost is $30.00 per person, in advance; All proceeds benefit the PBA children activities Seating is limited to 140; reservations are required with payment in advance. Contact: plpowers@comcast.net or call: (508) 962-4037 Ice Cream Social is scheduled for July 30 th. THANKS to Janice Spadea and Jenn Bennet for running this event. Picnic on the Beach takes place on August 20 th. Bring your own picnic and enjoy an evening of acoustic music with family & friends on Priscilla Beach: north entrance. Alternate location in case of rain: clubhouse. Body has replaced the Yoga classes. Classes will include yoga with addition of Pilates and weights. Cost is $5 per session. There will be a Kick-Off Session on Friday, July 1 st at 9AM. Regular sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 8:30 AM and Saturdays at 9AM, from July 6 th to August 20 th s will be held every other Friday starting on July 8 th. o As in previous years, s are free. The younger children will dance first with age groups progressing as the evening does; teens dance last. Note: September 2 nd is a costume dance. o Please remember that younger children need to be escorted to and from the dance for safety reasons. ********** REMINDERS PBA branded clothing & sundries: will be for sale again this year. Beach Rights: Please stay to the right of the stairs as you face the ocean when you enter the beach at the north entrance. The beach to the left is private property and not open to PBA members, their families, guests or tenants.

Beach Trash: trash bins are for beach trash only. Members, their families, guests and tenants should not dispose of household trash in the trash receptacle located at the north entrance to the beach.
