Module 5 must be taken on successful completion of Modules 1-4, and will include assessments for Shooter Certification Cards (SCCs). The cost for each module includes all range fees, firearms, ammunition, instruction and course material. 40% discount applies for Probationary Members under 25 years (to be eligible you must be under 25 when you start Module 1) - please see below. 1. Light lunches are available to purchase from a selection of the clubhouses on camp or the Clays Café for around 5. Alternatively you may provide your own packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided free of charge. Sessions consist of a mixture of classroom and range based training. All shooting equipment is provided, however if you have your own ear defenders please bring them with you. A suggested kit list is: Suitable outdoor clothing - we recommend warm clothing with a good quality walking style outer jacket and light walking trousers A cap or other head gear Sturdy walking boots, as the ranges may be muddy underfoot Small back pack with water, flask of tea/coffee, snacks, sun cream, spare top, waterproofs, gloves Notebook and pencil Binoculars if available All training depends on suitable conditions so if the weather becomes too foggy/cold/wet/windy etc, a lesson may have to be changed. Modules 3 & 4 Module 5 o Two separate days covering Full-bore shooting at 100/300/600/1000 yds with Iron sight (TR and Historic) and scoped rifles (bolt action and straight pull); basic positional techniques; target marking/butts duties; Range Office procedure. o Revision of range safety rules; Gallery Rifle and Target Rifle practical range assessments for Shooter Certification Cards (SCCs) and written exam; advice about competitive shooting events and other development skills courses; specialist 'Introduction To...' days and Club/Association leads.
