Rick & Liz Broadway Chapter Directors Greetings all. Hope you guys are doing well. Liz and I want to tell you how proud we are of the Chapter. We had a 90% participation for the Blast from the Chapter and that s GREAT!!! Liz and Angela Taylor placed 2nd in the Chapter Challenge, Dave Butts won People s Choice Award for his trike and the Chapter won 1st place for Chapter Visitation. That is Fantastic! On Saturday August 22nd we had a really beautiful and fun ride to Smokey Truck Stop and we had another great turn out. We are looking forward to and once again we have a 90% participation from the Chapter. The ride to should be a fun ride. Let s have a great and safe time at. See you all on Thursday at the Speedway at I64 and Rt 53. Time to have some fun!!! August 14-15 August 18 August 22 The BLAST was a BLAST!!! Our Chapter had a great turnout with 15 members present. We won the Visitation award for the 2015 year. Food was good, with hamburgers served for the Friday supper, followed by of course, ice cream. Thanks to Chef Rick who cooked and to Becky for pulling everything together. Rick & Liz won a basket of snacks and Rick also won a rider ed prize. We ate at Gibbys in Frankfort on Saturday night, then returned to the hotel for social time. We also participated in the guided ride and the Ghost Tour at Buffalo Trace distillery. Next year the Blast will be held in Cave City so the fun of a new venue should be exciting. Ride to Momma s in Louisville for BBQ, Rick & Liz, Ray & Angela & Bob & Carma, enjoyed the BBQ - We will return!!! Ride to Smokey Valley Truck Stop for lunch. Riding were Bill & Sue, Lonnie, Karen & Dave, Mike & Connie, Ray & Angela, Bob & Carma and Rick & Liz. A great day for a ride and enjoyable ride down the back-roads. - The food was good too!!!
