Lunging is NOT allowed in the show arena, Fairground rule! GOLF CARTS, SCOOTERS AND OTHER MOTORIZED VEHICLES -All drivers must be licensed and must not exceed the seating capacity of the vehicle. No motorized vehicles will be allowed in any building during horse show hours, except on move in and move out days. WARNING: UNDER THE MICHIGAN EQUINE ACTIVITY LIABILITY ACT, AN EQUINE ACTIVITY SPONSOR OR EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN AN EQUINE ACTIVITY RESULTING FROM AN INHERENT RISK OF THE EQUINE ACTIVI- TY. DOG RULE!!!!! Dogs, or other pets, are not permitted to be loose at anytime (arrival to departure) on competition grounds. Dogs, or other pets, must be kept contained or on a leash no greater than 6 feet in length under the immediate control of a responsible person and shall not be allowed to disturb or annoy visitors. The Ingham County Animal Control Ordinance and State Dog Law shall be strictly enforced. A $50 fine will be charged for any dog SEEN loose on the show grounds. The person that owns or is in immediate charge of any dog shall immediately remove all droppings and deposit in trash receptacle on Fairgrounds. If no receptacle is available, droppings are to be taken off Fairgrounds and disposed. Dog, or other pet, owners failing to comply will be subject to penalty. All horses must have a stall no showing out of trailer REFUNDS - Exhibitors canceling entries in writing prior to closing date of entries shall be entitled to have entry fees returned. Any request to withdraw horses after closing date of entries and prior to arrival on grounds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Any cancellation will result in a $50.00 office charge. Option Classes There are two option classes available for purchase for each session Friday and Saturday to put where you want. Your purchase will be inserted in the location of your choice in the schedule on a first come basis. Consult the prize list before selecting an option class. If the class is in the show schedule then that class may NOT be selected. An Option Class may be requested by submitting the Option Class Request Form below. Payment must accompany submission. Please mail or email (credit card information only) your request. The price to purchase an Option Class is $50.00. and includes the entry fee for one horse. Once the Option Classes are posted anyone may enter the classes for the regular entry fee of $20.00. Early postings will be done at: www.mjmha.com.
