2. ADMINISTRATION 2.1 The Classes, age and weight divisions listed in the table below are permitted to Compete at this Meeting. Minimum licence requirements are in accordance with KA Class Rules. It is the responsibility of the Competitor to ensure that all information on this list is correct. Any inaccuracies and discrepancies are required to be notified to the Chief Timing Officer no less than 30 minutes prior to the start of Practice for their respective Class. c) POSTAL ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED APPROVED: David Harris. CORRECT AMOUNT REQUIRED AS CHANGE WILL NOT BE GIVEN. 2.5 MINIMUM ENTRIES: a) 12 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for the Feature Classes. b) 8 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for all other Classes and/or weight divisions. c) If insufficient entries are received for a Class and/or weight division to form in its own right, the COMPULSORY COMPETITION CLASSES will be Consolidated in accordance with Competition Rules, Chapter 1 Rule 9. DISCRETIONARY COMPETITION CLASSES may be Consolidated in accordance with the rules or cancelled at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. b) The Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. 2.6 POINTS SYSTEM: a) Zero Point System for the 3 Heats b) 1 st 0, 2 nd 2, 3 rd 3, and so on with one (1) point added for each place c) DNF will be awarded a finishing position based on the number of laps completed. d) DNS & DSQ will be awarded a finishing position based on the number of entries on the Grid sheet from Heat 1 of that class plus one (1) position e) FINAL ONLY COUNTS 3.1 FORMAT OF RACING: a) Practice 2 X 6 Minute Practice Sessions b) There will be Timed Qualifying at this event. c) Qualifying 1 X 6 Minute Qualifying Session 3. COMPETITION Heats There will be 3 Heats The Grids for all 3 Heats will be Fastest Qualifier to Grid 1, and so on Pre-final The Grid for the Pre-final will be the Lowest Accumulated Points from all 3 Heats to Grid 1, and so on Final The Grid for the Final will be the Finishing order from the Pre-final, 1 st to Grid 1, and so on. d) DISTANCES FEATURE CLASSES (KA4 Junior Light, TaG 125 Light & TaG 125 Restricted Light) Heat 1 10 Laps Heat 2 10 Laps Heat 3 10 Laps Pre-final 15 Laps Final 21 Laps ALL OTHER CLASSES Heat 1 10 Laps Heat 2 10 Laps Heat 3 10 Laps Pre-final 12 Laps Final 15 Laps 3.2 ACCESS TO CIRCUIT: a) Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 9.00am on Friday 18 th November 2016 APPROVED: David Harris. 3.3 DRIVERS BRIEFING: 3.4 FUEL: a) Time: 8.00am Location: On the Out Grid a) Control Fuel Will be used at this Meeting and will apply to all Classes. b) Control Fuel is: BP Ultimate 98 c) Control Fuel for use at this Meeting must be purchased from: On the Run/BP Service Station - Corner of Hodgson & Port Wakefield Roads - Southern side of the Whitehorse Inn d) Control Fuel for this Meeting can be purchased from 18 th November 2016 onwards and MUST be used from Saturday 19 th November 2016 until the conclusion of the Meeting on Sunday 20 th November 2016 e) Random samples of competitor s fuel may be taken during the meeting and tested for conformity to samples of the Control Fuel taken from the supplier on these dates. Proof of purchase receipts for the fuel must be retained and produced to the Chief Scrutineer, State Technical Inspector or Fuel tester as and when required f) Competitors are reminded that fuel tanks and drums should be empty prior to being used for fuel purchased for this meeting. 4.1 PADDOCK ALLOCATION: a) N/A 4.2 MEDICAL SERVICES: 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS a) Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: SOUTHERN GO KART CLUB, BOLIVAR RACEWAY, SUMMER ROAD, BOLIVAR 4.3 KART RETRIEVAL: a) Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. b) Retrieval of karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course c) Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal / Scales Marshal and then only if wearing a high visibility safety vest on the upper torso. d) Karts can be retrieved via the In-Grid 4.4 ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS: a) No animals allowed anywhere within the facility other than those being used by the disabled. b) No dumping of Fuel, please make own arrangements. c) Used racing Tyres can be placed in Trailer situated next to the rear gate d) No unlicensed driving of motor vehicles permitted at the circuit. e) No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. f) Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. g) Camping will be made available by prior arrangement. There are NO shower facilities available.
