Make sure your golf bag has your name/address on it. Arrangements have been made by Golf Chairman Dan Heinz for the golf tournament to be held on the West Course. We will, again, make use of senior tees by those players 65 years and older. The tournament will include both men and women players. A continental breakfast will be served on the 2nd floor of the Main Golf Club. Golfers not staying at the Broadmoor may use complimentary valet parking at the main entrance to the Main Building, park on the street, or park in Broadmoor Hall located just North of the Golf Club for a daily fee. Prizes for the Shotgun Scramble will be awarded in a variety of categories. First place winners will be recognized at the Saturday morning breakfast. Prizes may be picked up at the registration table Saturday morning located at the Rocky Mountain Ballroom. Chairman Heinz and the KBA will make every effort to accommodate special requests for golf pairings. All other groups will be teamed according to handicaps. Ken Farmer has been helping people sell their collections since 1974. He has been an appraiser on the popular PBS Series, Antiques Roadshow, since its inception over 20 years ago. He is an antiques and collectibles appraiser, broker, auctioneer and dealer. His specialty is helping people evaluate their collections and if desired, find the best markets for their objects. In this unique presentation, Ken will share his experiences on Antiques Road Show, as well as his own downsizing journey. He will provide insight into the stuff challenge that we will all eventually deal with whether it s personal items or stuff from relatives and friends. He is a self-confessed stuff nerd who will help you put things in perspective with a great sense of humor. What is it? What is it worth? How do you sell it?
