LEVELS 1, 2, 3 REQUIREMENTS (ACRO PRE-TEAM PROGRAM) The Pre-team Program (Level 1-3) will aid in the development of a new Acro Program. The purpose of these levels is to provide training in beginning acrobatic gymnastics skills for recreational activity and in preparation for competition at Levels 4 and higher. Although these levels are for training, an in-house competitive evaluation is possible. Music is not necessary for these exercises. The elements for each level may be practiced in any order until the athletes are proficient. At Levels 1, 2, and 3 pairs may be in any combination of two athletes and groups may be in any combination of three athletes. Partners may be switched at any time for training purposes. There are individual skills for each level. Balance, dynamic, and individual skills are integrated into one pair exercise and one group exercise. The Pre-Team Program is an easy, step-by-step program for new and/or preexisting coaches, program directors, or recreational managers who wish to create an athlete pipeline for current acrobats from recreational to competitive levels and to create an additional revenue stream in a gymnastics club. A copy of the entire Acrobatic Gymnastics Pre-team Handbook is included in the appendix section of this document (See Appendix) 2009-12 Specifications 01-09 2
